Fresh jalapeño Mexican Restaurant

Had my first trip to Fresh Jalapeno and Had Athena as my waitress and she was amazing....

My wife and I could both tell all the food was made with no preservatives. Been there now 8-10 times. It’s now the only place we go out to eat as we usually eat at home. Everything tasted amazing and we both felt great after each meal there which is very rare for us. Looking forward to eating there tonight 5 ⭐️’s for sure !

I ordered online through Yelp. Was very convenient. It said my order would be ready in 25-45 minutes, and it was ready when I arrived about 30 minutes later. Fresh and Hot. First time trying this place. We ordered the queso, salsa & chips, guacamole, 2 homemade sopes appetizer, the Jr Burrito and the Mama's bowl. IT was good to very good. Generous portions for sure. Mama's bowl I had with the pork upgrade option. I added jalapenos and salsa verde. I couldn't finish it all. was very tasty. The salsa was good but nothing to rave about. Likewise the queso and guacamole, which we added some needed lime juice to. The chips were as expected and fresh. The Junior Burrito was quite large and my wife couldn't finish hers either. The appetizer was fair. Good flavor but the sopes (a traditional appetizer in mexico made with corn masa shaped into a small frisbee-like disc of thick usually fried masa dough then filled with a variety of toppings, in this case was cheese, shredded chicken, lettuce and some chile sauce and maybe sour cream also) were a bit disappointing with the masa which was kind of tough and chewy, but the filling was tasty and I thought a bit under seasoned with chile sauce. All in all, I would say above average for takeout mexican food, and I will definitely be trying it again.

Our daughter gifted us a tray of Nachos with chicken on Super Bowl Sunday. They were outstanding!

We recently moved to Florida from Chicago area looked around for authentic Mexican food and we loved it!! The tacos, chips salsa are delicious we go weekly on Tuesdays sometimes more. Enchiladas, chile relleno,chili burrito are also fantastic. Our favorite place to go. The staff are also efficient and friendly. Thanks!

Burritos were fresh made - beans and rice on the side. Vegetables were a little difficult to eat. Not prepped properly. Long carrot sticks. A huge broccoli floret. And because everything was chopped different sizes, they were all in different stages of cooking. Some more raw, some overdone, some pieces we're okay. Flavors were ok. Shrimp chowder was good and this was a cup. They are new so I will give them another chance

Nice food, friendly service, and a tasty drink.

Only suggestions: Dim the enormously bright lights (I wasn't trying to land aircraft at night) while grilling/browning the onions & chicken more on the fajitas.

I was wondering why a single drink price is not listed on the menu, but I found out...$13.99. The entree was $18.99, which is not unexpected... but $13.99 for the "Coco Loco" single beverage? That's a new record high for a margarita price for me when I didn't ask for a name brand.

What a great experience. Family owned and flavorful food, prepared as they would for their own family not just customers. The food was delicious. Birria appetizer, queso dip, charro beans, seafood chowder, mojarra, fajita burrito, chimichanga and that's just what I ordered ?

The Texas margarita is a perfect pairing to all the above.

We visited for the first time about 3:30 on Tuesday.The food was pretty good. Birria tacos not as good as I've had because they were skimpy, not much Burris inside. The broth was perfect.. Arroz con pollo was really good according to my friend. As were the complimentary chips and salsa.It was starting to get busy and the server was trying to keep up. When she brought our first margaritas she Recommended free peanuts, but never brought them.No biggie. We'll probably go back to check out other things. It's very bright in there, wear your sunglasses & music is a little loud.

We have been a dozen times or so now with no complaints! My favorite is mama's bowl with carnitas & my guy loves the fajita burrito with chicken. Taco Tuesday is a huge hit with us also - SO GOOD! They always have good specials & the staff is always friendly. Great for dining in or for take out.

I’m very pleased with this place. I could drink the salsa and the food was flavorful. Both were fresh and the orchata was made with real cinnamon and not a mix.
Our waitress, Gabby treated us like family and exemplifies Florida hospitality.

First time here, we pass it often and gave it a try. The service was fast and Gabby was friendly and helpful. The corn chips on the table needed some salt and we're just made. The enchiladas were ok but nothing to write home about. We had lunch and the lunch specials were about $11 each. I'll give the place another try maybe for dinner and try something different. It's worth a try.
