We have enjoyed eating at the Longhorn. My wife enjoys the steak and shrimp combos and I prefer chicken or an occasional hamburger. Because this restaurant is in the Villages we typically will call ahead, 1/2 hour before arrival and this seats us a bit faster. The servers are always friendly and eager to please the customers. A manager always comes around to make sure the meal is good and cooked how you want it. We like that it is quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
This place was quite busy with folks waiting outside. I did find a seat at the bar and was served right away. Ribeye was tasty, and the staff took good care of my needs.

I have always had a good experience at every LongHorn until this visit. I ordered a petite filet medium because the menu says it has a pink center. The server said their medium has red in it. So I said I do not want any raw meat, so please say what you need so I do not have bloody steak. Well my steak comes out and it is very thin and odd shaped. I asked why it looked like that. The server said they butterflied it so that it could be cooked properly. I have never in my life had a butterflied steak. I think a steak house should be able to cook a steak properly without changing the cut. The worst part was that the steak was still very bloody. It was taken back and cooked further. So the edges were well done with no pink whatsoever and a few other parts were still a bit red. Very disappointed in this experience. The manager came around and gave my husband a free slice of cake for dessert as compensation. I'm avoiding sugar so it did nothing to make me feel better. The Caesar salad was overly saturated with dressing so much that the lettuce was limp. I ate a few bites but could not continue. The brown bread completely lacked flavor. I had rice pilaf as a side, and that was prepared well, flavorful and a nice very warm temperature.
