Haven't been to Boatwrights since there was a Dixie Landings. Back then we would get the Prime Rib which was some of the best on property. It is still on the menu but we decided to go outside of our comfort zone this time We are staying nearby in Ft Wilderness and was looking for a good sit down meal close by. Glad we came. Food was great. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. There were three of us and we had a wide variety from Jambalaya with scewered shrimp which were perfect to Salmon which was cooked to perfection and the Chicken which was a huge breast breaded and sides of mac and cheese and mashed. Highly recommend.

I was super convinced due to reviews, however, two of the plates of food were cold and ny family was treated sub par aftet me and my husband left the table, not what I expected after having bought two vacation packages with a minimum spent of 12k and 300 in tips alone at 2 restraints. If I had known that we were going to be treated the way we were over dining credits, I never would have included them. Disney knows better in terms of quality and expectations of consumers. Please please be aware of this restaurant and at least make them accountable to treat you well!

My 2nd visit to Boatwright's after 12 years. I was impressed with the staff at the hostess desk who were able to accommodate me even though I arrived 2 hours prior to my reservation time.
I was a solo diner and felt the server was rushing me throughout the meal. A bit off putting.
The food was okay. I had the All You Can Eat platter. Just okay. The food was warm, not hot with very minimal seasoning. The cornbread was good as were the ribs. The macaroni and cheese really tried but didn't quite make it.
Overall 3 1/2 stars. I'm from the west coast so I doubt I'll be back. I believe the food was much better on my first visit so I know Boatwright's is capable of doing better.

The servers my husband, son, and I had were phenomenal. We came in from Rhode Island to celebrate our sons 6th bday. Joseph from Florida was our server. He was kind, funny, attentive, and went above and beyond for us. He gave my son a card signed by everyone and some goodies! Karen from Buffalo, NY was also absolutely amazing. We had great conversations with them, lots of laughs! They really set the tone for our vacation and I have to say…we had a 4 day stay…nobody else measured up.
I submitted a compliment on the Disney app but people need to know how great they were. We literally kept talking about our dinner here.
Remember, a restaurant is just a business in a building ran by people who may not even deal with the public. It’s the “cast members” who carry the weight, grinding daily with long hours and a smile. But they didn’t just smile. They were warm with good energy. They felt like friends. We almost came back for our last night because of Joseph (is there an e at the end of his name? I think so.) and Karen.
Mind you, it wasn’t just us. I watched the way he interacted with the other tables as well. And I’ve worked in the service industry..he didn’t just put on face for tips. His demeanor came from his heart. It’s obvious he’s a good person.
I hope someone “important” sees this and doesn’t just brush it off as another good review. I hope they’re recognized in a manner that truly impacts them positively. Even the hostess was sweet. You guys have a good team! Honestly, I can’t wait to come back. I hope they’re well taken care of.
***Also, we came here because I’m a Texan who has lived in Rhode Island for 9 years and has been homesick and needing southern food I didn't cook. The platter was AMAZING. Meat fell off the ribs, brisket was perfection..everything was so dang delicious. And the corn bread?! Heaven. 10/10.

Definitely not the place for a quiet, intimate dinner. The food is excellent, and quite a nice atmosphere. However, you do have a lot of younger kids declaring, loudly, that the gods are angry. It makes everything feel a bit rushed......nice to see you......what can I get for you.....here it is....enjoyed it?...great......see you soon. Also, guys, for Pete's sake, show a little respect to the staff that's serving you and take your hats off while you're eating. It was our first time eating here, if I'm ever down this way again, I would certainly pay it another visit.

We had a wonderful time on Thanksgiving and truly enjoyed their special feast! The turkey 🦃 was incredibly tender and tasty 😋. Our waiter was so attentive and caring, making our experience even better. We loved every bite of our meal! We definitely recommend it—just a heads-up to expect a wait, especially for dinner, even if you've made a reservation in advance.

Breakfast is incredible. I'm bias because Riverside is my favorite Disney resort, but the chicken was crispy and juicy, the waffle was fluffy and flavorful, and the syrup is the cherry on top of the perfect breakfast.

We’ve eaten here a few times now and it never disappoints. Most recently we ate here last night to celebrate my birthday and Ashley went above and beyond to make the dinner special and so memorable. She provided excellent service and the food quality was exceptional! Highly recommend taking a ride over here to grab dinner even if you aren’t staying at Port Orleans.

Had a 6:00 reservation. Sat down at 6:30. The place was empty.
We sat for thirty minutes and got one visit from the waitress.
It took 30 minutes to get a water.
After another 30 minutes we were served cold food.
We ordered drinks. We got our drinks 5 minutes after our food arrived. We sat there for an hour and a half.
Horrible service, horrible food.
By far the worst service I’ve ever experienced at Disney world.

My main course was meh but THAT BUTTER that comes with the cornbread. Simply chef’s kiss. Perfect temperature, perfect consistency, so spreadable and delicious. I will dream about that butter tonight 🧈

I was impressed with the quality of the food! Reviews seemed pretty mixed but it was a pleasant surprise to find that the all you can eat platter was solid. The sausage was a bit bland, but everything else from the green beans to the brisket hit the spot. I wish there were more sauce options to go with it, but I must give credit to our server and the kitchen for trying to come up with a spicy BBQ sauce on the fly when I was totally cool with what I already had. Nicola was really great and made the birthday meal a 10/10 experience! This was a total contrast to the cafeteria just down the hall, which was horrible. But I definitely recommend Boatwrights!

We go to this restaurant every visit to Disney World. I do love their jambalaya and my husband loves their chicken. I was disappointed that they skewer the shrimp now. Nobody wants to have to take their shrimp off a skewer, take the shells off and toss in the jambalaya. So much easier and tastier when all the ingredients are mixed together. I always go for my fix for jambalaya but I'm not sure I'll do that next time or go at all since the jambalaya is my go to. No need to make it fancy.
Our server was new with her trainer close by. They were both wonderful !!! Atmosphere is cozy depending on where you sit. The AC was too high. Was cold
