We had a great time at Villatel. We stayed with two other families to help with the cost and the place was big enough. no one was stepping over another. Having your own private pool was a game changer and that in itself is a huge reason to stay. The kids loved the game room, but the sleeping arrangement in that room made the big difference because they all had their own little space. The River Roost is the bar/lounge at Walt Disney Worlds Port Orleans Riverside Resort.
What makes this place so special is the entertainment. Yehaa Bob Jackson performs there most of the week.
If you have never seen him, he can’t the whole place singling along in seconds. It’s really a great time, and it’s free to see him.
Get there early as the tables fill up fast.

This New Orleans themed bar inside the Port Orleans Riverside resort is kid-friendly and features a good selection of drinks, including Albita draught beers and the Turbo Dog Brown Ale. Visitors can enjoy a charcuterie board and a colossal cheese plate while waiting for the fantastic piano show by Yeehaw Bob, a unique entertainer known for his engaging performances that last 90 minutes. The staff is friendly, and ample parking is available, including handicap spots. Wheelchair accessibility is easy, making it a great spot for the whole family to have a good time. It is recommended to arrive early due to limited seating, especially for the first Yeehaw Bob show of the evening.
The bar is a popular spot, with guests visiting every night after a day at the parks. Yeehaw Bob's energetic and fun performances, usually starting around 8:30 pm on Wednesdays through Saturdays, are a highlight. The bartenders, like Wes and Myles, provide excellent service and are happy to customize drinks, like the unique pickle martini. The menu also features delicious Cajun shrimp, a charcuterie board, and the popular banana pudding. The overall atmosphere is family-friendly, making it one of the best Disney bars and lounges.
