Don't waste time and money on this resturant. My husband got the seafood gumbo, crab was old and clams were bad he had to spit them out. Server didn't refill our drinks the whole dinner but would refill other tables. Only thing good was the desserts. A whole lot of better resturants, please do not come here.

A hidden gem at Disney. We love to take the boat from Disney Springs to Port Orleans Riverside for dinner at Boatwrights and then a quick walk over to French Quarter for beignets.

Enjoyed two birthday dinners at Boatwright’s in March 2024 one was a surprise. Both were delicious and service was excellent. I ordered Taste of the Bayou All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Platter and loved the Hickory-smoked Pork Ribs on the platter. At the other dinner I had the Slow Roasted Prime Rib and it was amazing. We had the appetizer Pimento Cheese Fritters and you should too. I enjoyed a birthday Rum Swizzle that was refreshing and yummy. Birthday cupcake from the restaurant was beautiful and so chocolaty. What a wonderful birthday surprise with family with excellent food and service. I highly recommend Boatwright’s at Disney French Quarter Riverside. We did get beignets at the French Quarter to complete our evening!Just a note this was our second experience at Boatwright’s and won’t be our last.We Highly Recommend.

I'm am the type of person who gets super excited to try the food only to have it fall flat and disappoint. However the crayfish etouffee was, and I truly mean this, the best thing I've ever eaten. Fabulous. Enough said.

I love this restaurant! A lot of people don’t know about it because it’s a hidden gem! If you want spice on Disney property come here! The cheese fritters are amazing with the sauce! The shrimp and grits are phenomenal!

We stayed in the resort in the beginning of March, 2024. Our first night we went to Boatwright’s for dinner. There was a little bit of a wait (about 15 minutes) at 7pmThe interior is very nice. They had the fireplace going. Very comfortable with a nautical theme. The server was excellent! Very nice. Very well-informed. He had great advice on what we should order. He was very attentive too.He brought out some cornbread for us to enjoy before our food arrived. I am not a huge cornbread fan, but this was the best cornbread I’ve ever had! So moist and sweet. Not grainy or dry or bland. Just perfect! Try to not fill up on it!I ordered the blackened salmon with dirty rice and steamed green beans for my dinner. It was an actual blackened salmon. A lot of places say they have blackened salmon, but it’s not. This was, and it was cooked to perfection. Very soft, tender, juicy, and full of flavor! If you want to eat healthy, this is a great option. My sister ordered the fish boil. She loved it. Ate every bite! It looked and smelled really good. Plenty of garlic in it.My nephew ordered the Cajun fried chicken with mashed potatoes. We were told by our waiter that they have amazing mashed potatoes and he wasn’t lying! We all tried them and they were excellent! Like your grandma used to make. Even though my nephew is only 10, and ordered from the adult menu, he still ate every bite of his meal. No leftovers for us!Our meal was reasonably priced. It was the perfect amount. We really enjoyed everything about our meal and will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this place if you’re staying in resort.

Wonderful experience. They did an excellent job handling our food allergies and went above and beyond to make sure those members of our party got to experience every aspect of the dinner (they even had vegan cornbread).

As far as getting food from Disney goes, this place is a pretty solid choice. It’s not terribly expensive and it’s not usually overcrowded and the food is really good, worth the price you pay for it. The cornbread is divine, the Mardi Gras Fritters (fried Pimento with slightly spicy jam) are amazing, the Shrimp and Grits were fantastic and the dessert of Bananas Foster Bread Pudding was wonderful. My fiancé really liked his Blackened Prime Rib. All around a great choice!

It's comfort for me. When my wife was alive we stayed at Port Orleans resort and would have breakfast or dinner there. Our waiter was very attentive, from the Bronx. Nice guy. Dinner was good Prime Rib was tasty. They serve the French Onion soup with beef broth, the way it's supposed to be. Two thumbs up on that.

I loved the platter because you can re order any of the dishes. I really like the brisket! I would definitely recommend and will definitely come back in the future! (I didn’t like the chicken it came with tho, and I’m a chicken tender connoisseur. Ranch didn’t even help it. Everything else was good though.)
