We are owners and I can't believe Wydnam allows this kind of quality to stay on the property.

If you're going to charge resort prices for food, you can't just microwave the food. And you can't just defrost shrimp and throw it on a cold tortilla with some lettuce and call it a shrimp taco and then charge $16 for it.

DO NOT GO HERE. ORDER DELIVERY OFF PROPERTY, YOULL GET BETTER FOOD AND SPEND LESS

Food and drinks are delicious, atmosphere is great, and when a crow swooped down, scared us all, stole my daughter’s fries and made her cry, one of the bartenders gave her a free slushie drink to cheer her right up. Excellent customer service and will come back again!

Overpriced, cold food. Ordered breakfast burritos and expected a...well...BURRITO. You know what they look like, yes? Super tiny and cut in half. Microwaved to lukewarm. $30 for 2. Made my own for fun next day. 2 eggs, 2 bacon, half cup shredded cheese and, can you believe it...SEASONING! Retail cost of ingredients: $2.10. And DELICIOUS. This place is embarrassing.

Tuna Bowl was good,food came quick,atmosphere was hindered by close proximity to construction but that is not a major factor. Overall enjoyable meal.

Bad pour at the bar and my cup was filled to the brim with ice. The tuna poke bowl had brown pieces of sour/rotten fish and I had to send it back. Would not go here again.

Unless you are using a resort credit I would not patronize Escudo’s.

The chicken tender wrap maybe had on tender chopped up, a ton of mush lettuce and avocado with bunk type sauce. The tater tots were abundant and hot and the burger was decent but definitely not worth 50 bucks!

Food is no good

My friend and I got Poké bowls to go. The rice is cold and HARD. Who is ok with eating that?? I’m so disappointed after spending $30.08 on ONE bowl I can’t even eat the rice. I called and John told me that’s just how they do it. We will never be back. NASTY

Terrible nachos. Watered down cheese sauce felt like things were thrown on a bowl of cold tortilla chips and watered down pico de gallo. Also, not pictured were the chicken wraps with chicken tender pieces(basically one strip of chicken) inside it,It was mostly salad in the wrap. Anyways the only good freshly made and hot things were the fries…at least !

Breakfast starts at 10:00 and ends at Noon.
It was good food. Nothing wrong with it, but also nothing special there are only 5 items and no servers. The chicken sausage is surprisingly the best part.

I've been here many times over the years and until recently I was never unhappy with this place. The format change is disappointing, the menu leaves out details, ordering is reminiscent of fast food, just the lack of table service that used give you the feel of being at a resort. The food is still good, the staff is great, but it just feels lacking.

Pretty yummy pool side snack. As most resort food a bit overpriced with slow service. All that being said these shrimp tacos had a delcious spicy slaw on them with a good portion of fresh shrimp that were nicely cleaned. I wish the shrimp had some more seasoning on them but a fun,yummy snack by the pool for sure. One order comes with two tacos 🌮 but as a snack you could share it. Worth trying ♡
