I had an amazing stay over spring break. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the buses were timely. I especially enjoyed the extended evening hours at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT since Shades of Green is considered a deluxe resort.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty to keep you busy if you choose not to leave the resort. Transportation is a great asset as well.

I normally would recommend this place but the hotel completely dropped the ball on a race weekend. By the time that I realized we were next to the pool area, it was too late to change rooms. The blaring music from the pool for 12 hours was too much for anybody to get rest after the race. A little lower volume of the music playing from the pool area would’ve been nice regardless of whether it’s a race weekend or not. If you don’t need to be by the pool, I would highly suggest asking not to be.

this was my wife's first time being at a military resort and she was blown away at the low cost, friendly staff spacious and well maintained rooms and all of the amenities available. Pretty sure any time were in the Orlando area from now on we're staying here.

The lady Crystal was very rude to my party that was there from out of town. We had never been to the place and decided to leave and find other food even after a long day of golfing. When we went to talk to the manager she was super rude and said you guys can leave BYE on a rude way. She was nasty and not very welcoming. We had just asked if we needed to order up there or they came to us at our table and she said did you not read the sign. Just not very good service! She threatened to call the police and another guy who worked there started cussing at my family. Just very unprofessional for a Disney resort when it’s supposed to be happy place. Going to report this to the higher ups and my contacts at Disney!

My family dines here many times when we stay at Shades. The food is excellent...I especially love the shrimp tacos. A fun arcade is also attached.

Amazing service! The staff is outstanding. We got in early and were able to check in early! They were extremely helpful with our bags and even provided a pack and play for our son. Every day we’d come back to our room with clean beds and towels and they’d even set up all of my daughter’s toys and she thought it was the greatest thing ever. Check out was a breeze! They definitely played a very large part in the success of our trip!

Delicious burger. Hot crispy fries. Friendly service and fun atmosphere. Live Music if you’re lucky. Great place to eat if you’re done at the park but still want to be out and about.
