“This is a review based on my visit there in November 2025. I was not staying at the Polynesian (if only), so I crossed fingers and toes to pop over and add myself to the Grog Grotto waiting list. I checked out the resort to the extent I could and happily timed the Tiki Terrace right at opening. I was THRILLED to learn you can gain any of the tiki mugs on the terrace and pick up the mug once done. Wait staff was very helpful in educating me on this, as well as noting ability to slightly modify some of the drinks.
I did ultimately get into the Grog Grotto, but if you don’t want to wait and hope to get in, the Tiki Terrace is a nice setting.“

“Fantastic food and service. Adrian our waiter was outstanding. His attention to detail is next level and his drinks were so good we’re now casually considering buying a house in the community just to come back regularly. Amazing service, and possibly the reason we make a major life decision. Cheers to Adrian!“

“Drinks are solid! The bartenders are funny, helpful, and kind! It's helpful they are next to the ice cream shop, as it gives your kids something to enjoy while you enjoy your drink.
Definitely worth the stop, and the tiki cups, and the return stops (at a discount with your tiki cup!).
It also happens to sit outside the Dark Universe, which made me super happy as that us the best themed park.“

“You will need to get to poly by at least 1230 or 1 if you want to stand in line to get a spot for this bar. Not even kidding. You’ll need to line up along the wall next to the bar. They’ll come out and take your name and tell you a rough estimate of what time you can come back. I’d say this is our favorite “experience” bar at WDW next to Oga’s Cantina in HS. Don’t try and do a walk up here. It’s not going to work. It’s an interactive experience once you get inside. The drinks are good. I like the Uh Oha which is for two people. They have some small plates for food. I don’t recommend large groups. It’s going to be hard to sit together here if you’ve got large groups. Definitely worth the experience.“
