I dined here on New Year's Eve for my birthday and the manager made sure I had an exceptional visit! The ninja Tuna is the best!
Went there with a group of coworkers and we had a great night!

The food is amazing and their deals are incredible too the only downfall is they don’t take Apple Pay and also some of the servers are overwhelmed seems like they need more help with tables. Besides that this place is incredible

As a huge fan of Hibachi, Amura went above my expectations and became one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. Everything from the food, drinks, and the chef was great, will be going back soon.

This is my favorite hibachi place. The food is always prepared and seasoned well. It's usually calmer than most hibachi establishments. I enjoy the more laid back atmosphere. Not 12 chefs thinking their pay is based on their decibel level during service. I don't leave with a metal utensil noise induced headache. Toni is my favorite chef!

I went to amura for a dinner date with my husband. And while we were waiting for the food to be done we ask to watch the game which the manager nicely put on for us. While we were still eating because the servers wanted to close not only did they shut off the tv. They basically rushed out the restaurant. Mind you we spent over $80.00 for the meal... terrible service and will not be returning back ..the server that serves us was nice. But the experience left a bad taste. Unfortunate because the shusi was good.

We have been here before and it was delicious. Today not so much. Entrée was extremely salty on all 3. Appetizers were delicious but scallops and shrimp too much salt. Great place otherwise.

For many years, Amura has been my favorite sushi restaurant in Florida, and traveling from Jacksonville, FL for the past 16 years to enjoy their sushi and other menu items.
We visited this past weekend and were unfortunately quite disappointed with the quality of the appetizer and sushi rolls.
As the appetizer, we ordered the veggie spring rolls and found them to be undercooked, pasty and with few vegetables to be found within.
For the rolls, we ordered the Spicy Bubba Roll, Volcano Roll and Mango Tango Roll. The Spicy Bubba Roll had very little flavor and heat and not of the typical portion size. Same for the Mango Tango Roll which included rubbery tempura shrimp within. Lastly, the Volcano Roll was a reduced size with a modest at best layer of krab salad.
We also noticed there were no other customers seated at the bar and only a few parties seated in the dining area.
We sincerely hope this drop in quality and attendance is not a sign of things to come. It would be a shame to lose this long-standing icon to the economic challenges the rest of the restaurant industry if currently facing.

I had the lunch box extravaganza which was a lot of food but the chicken teriyaki was not traditional way where you get a thigh or breast grilled with teriyaki sauce but sliced chicken pieces in sauce with no veggies. The veggie tempura was disappointing which was green beans fried in old oil which made it dark compared to the shrimp teriyaki. I liked the ginger scallion beef which had slivers of carrots and onions and highlight was the spicy tuna roll. If I were to come here again I would get hibachi and sushi and skip the teriyaki. The music was loud and sounded like I was in an arcade. Service was great. I would come here again and I got three meals out of my dish (added ramen to reduce amount of protein consumed)
