Currito Lake Mary

At first I was totally psyched about this place. I just discovered it yesterday. The food was delicious and even though it’s a wait in line sort of place, they brought my food to my table for me which was extra good service since that’s not really the way their system is designed to work. I had finished my luncheon was busy on a project that I needed to get done when one of the employees came over to talk to me. I was hoping the conversation would be short and sweet, but before you know it, I was having mega rhetoric of down my throat. I did my best to keep my disagreements short and sweet and not encourage more conversation, but then he sat down at my table uninvited and stayed there for a long time telling me all sorts of political, crap. I decided to go ahead and turn my attention to my project since he didn’t seem to be getting the message, but despite not giving him any eye contact, he persisted to sit there at my table and spew his political agenda at me. Very uncomfortable. when he finally did leave, he came back with a card, giving me a free lunch. The next time I came in, even though I told him I was already going to be coming back because the food was delicious and then a few minutes later, he asked me if I wanted a free lunch to take home with me. I don’t like wasting food and I’m not going to refuse something that’s free, but it really felt far beyond good customer service and more like creepy stalker guy vibe. I would definitely recommend the place for the food, but not for single women. And the place is also really hard to find. At first I used Google maps which dumped me off at at least 100 yards away and then I tried Waze, which also didn’t help me get where I needed to be. It’s completely hidden and there’s no sign telling you. It’s behind the chicken restaurant. I finally circled the whole building and was able to find it, but it took a lot of determination.

My husband and I dine here every Friday! We love the food and the atmosphere. The Carolina Wrap is my favorite. The entire staff is amazing but major kudos to Cindy and Mahir for always making sure our experience is top notch and special shout out to their manager Larry for treating us and his staff with kindness and appreciation! It truly shows! Way to go Currito Lake Mary!

The food is fresh and delicious, everything is good, but the guacamole is made in house and to die for. The staff was friendly and Larry obviously cares for quality of the food and his staff. Can’t recommend this place more.

Friendly servers, generous portions, healthy options, delicious results. Loved our Bangkok and Tikka bowls and Berry and Health Nut smoothies.

Vegetarian options: Almost everything is vegetarian—mostly vegan, really. Just ask about the sauces to make sure they’re vegan.

Staff was welcoming and helpful for our first visit, walking us through our options.
I went with the chicken Tikka bowl. Very tasty. Would not that while the chickpea curry component was warm, the optional protein chicken in tikka sauce was served cold. It makes for an odd combination.
That said, the tikka sauce was crazy tasty and would choose again in an instant.
The wife had the Bangkok bowl and really liked it. Great with the peanut sauce.

Portions were ample and prices not too steep.

Anxious to try again and see what the other options are.

Vegetarian options: Any bowl is a vegetarian base with protein options including tofu. A super wide variety of options to use a pre-designed chef bowl or build your own.

Delicious and healthy food. Great balance of Protein, Veggies, and Carbs. As well, everything was cooked well and fresh.

I came from a bike ride in the summer heat, and it was cool and clean inside with calm lighting. The staff was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and made good suggestions.

The food came out quickly and my smoothie right after. The smoothie was quite possibly the best smoothie I've ever had. And the bowl was a good serving for the price and well seasoned and spiced. I ordered the Health Nut Smoothie and a Summer bowl.

Review of Currito Restaurant in Lake Mary, Florida

Currito in Lake Mary, Florida is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves to create their own bowls with a perfect blend of flavors. Their power bowl bar includes nutrient-rich superfoods that leave you feeling great. You can create your own greens and grains-based bowls with a variety of flavorful ingredients.

The food here is amazing. I usually go for the classic steak bowl, and the preparation is impressively fast. By the time you finish placing your order, your meal is already ready for pickup. The location is spotless, and the managers are incredibly friendly. If they see you a second time, they recognize you, smile, and wave.

As an engineer, efficiency, friendliness, cleanliness, and hygiene are very important to me. Currito excels in all these areas. The place is managed by Larry, who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Rarely do I see places in Orlando running as efficiently and pleasantly as this one.
