I ordered a double garlic cheeseburger and they gave me a single, I ordered a combo and never received my fries. The bun was a regular bun not toasted and no garlic butter which really takes away from the taste profile. There was practically no sauce. It was so dry.

I love the food. Ever since I worked there for 3 years as my first job back in 2004. Always delicious. Service at my home store is always awesome.
However, its frustrating that simple requests cant be handled. It was a long day, im exhausted, hungry. Wanting to get home in bed. I drove all the way home, 30 mins. Open the bag and the one thing i asked for was apparently too hard to handle.
I don't like sourdough bread. I ordered Number 3( Frisco melt), ON A REGULAR BUN. Thats it. Simple. And no, I don't want to eat it anyways even though im really hungry. The bread makes me sick. So essentially 12 dollars wasted. No one was in dining, 2 or 3 in drive thru. It's 1a.m. in the morning, was NOT busy by any means..
Not mad, Just disappointed. And HUNGRY. Smh, that's all. Thanks

From the employees to the manager and the quality of the food here has been wonderful!!!! Some other steak and shake have bad management… I think this one has improved tremendously!!!!!! Would recommend! Food was delicious. Customer service 10/10

Five stars, just for the beef tallow fries. Delicious and while not healthy by any means, definitely better than seed oils.
Service was fast, food was hot. However, there's obvious trash under the grills that has been there for at least several days. Employees were cleaning the floors in the kitchen but the tables were all dirty. Ordered a chocolate shake, got vanilla with a kiss of chocolate essence. Buns tasted stale, ended up eating the patty and condiments without the bun. Won't be back to this specific location as it is subpar compared to other SnS locations nearby.

Not only was my food not made properly but it was spilled inside the bag and was cold. I did order it for delivery but the cheese sauce cup was not filled properly the fries were tipped upside down in the bag and they didn't even properly check what alternate drink I might want. This is poor customer service and poor food quality.

Steak n Shake is NOW GREAT!!! New Caring manager.Back to there old selves.Recently had a burger,fries,shake! Just Delicious AND NOW THEY USE GOOD OL BEEF TALLOW!!! NO MORE DANGEROUS SEED OILS.Check them out,They deserve another try! Yummy,yummy,yummy.
