Tastes just like the New York version, but the prices have gone up. Understandable as they now have a storefront and not just a cart on the street. Service is quick and in my opinion the amount of food (rice and meat) they give is still good for the price. As always they'll be generous with the white sauce and stingy with the red sauce. Red sauce has a good spicy kick. So if you like a lot of it like I do, you'll be standing there for a little bit as they add one line...
Johnny Ryan and A are an amazing team! Their enthusiasm and kindness are much appreciated and added to the wonderful meal experience. One of the best meals I've ever had. I ordered the chicken and falafel combo and baklava cheesecake! The Halal Guys are perfection!
Truly excellent experience!! Phenomenal food, superb service (thank you Johnny!) and clean, cool seating area. We cannot say enough good things about The Halal Guys in Lake Mary. You gotta go!
