The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co.

As of late the quality of their bagels have declined to sad. Even their creame cheese is sad.. the past three orders at least one and mostly 2 of a 6 pack are hard as rocks and burnt. I stopped ordering onion bagels because to burnt to eat... the plan bagels are usually spot on but who ever took over the store in Lake Mary doesn't care about quality or making good food. Shame.

This place has gone downhill fast. I ordered bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel was extremely salty, the egg was that artificial egg, and the bagel was cut so bad that the top half was so thin the bagel fell apart in my hands. Last time I was in, an employees was grabbing a cup of water and the manager came out to tell him he had to use the cup he was given earlier in the week and he wasn’t allowed to get a new cup ever shift. That’s ridiculous and extremely unprofessional to tell an employee in front of customers in the dining room to embarrass him. I won’t be returning any time soon.

After being a LONG time customer for years, this one time has ended it. Went in Saturday morning places and order at 10:45 am, after asking how long the wait for food would be, and was told 15 minutes.. for 1 bagel with cream cheese, and 1 bacon egg and cheese. After waiting over an hour (with a store packed of people waiting) the rude cashier said they couldn’t find our ticket. Several others were waiting even longer and people were requesting refunds. NO MANAGER IN SIGHT!
Sad that a great bagel place has gone to crap, with lack of service and respect. The rude disrespectful cashier yelling at an older lady when she asked about her food when she was waiting from 10:05 to 11:40!! I went and stuck up for her and waited for a manager who was cooking but not one apology to the over 30 plus guests that were there WAITING! Kids with their families looking for their food it was chaos.
I have always said they HAD the best bagels but after the order I received today, I’ll never go back. Disgusting and so disgraceful to give a customer a rock hard bagels with cold eggs. Went right to the trash. Do yourselves a favor, this place is NOT THE SAME.

The food is good here but it's not worth the hassle. A lot of bagels were out of stock by 11. So many people were canceling and demanding refunds while waiting for their food because it was taking way too long. There was way too many staff members there for them to be taking as long as they did. The staff didn't seem to care and just kept telling people they had a lot of online orders. By the time we received our food (40 min later) there had already been several orders called out for people who had gotten mad and left which was really annoying. We won't be going back.

We have been here for over 30 minutes waiting for an untoaststed bagel. I was told by the young lady and another woman that we are busy. They are busy but I would not have stayed had I known it was going to be now 45 minutes for a bagel.

Impossible to get any employees attention when you have a pick up order.

The food is good but if you are thinking about mobile ordering to get out faster, I promise you’ll wait 3x as long as the folks eating in.

Today I ordered an egg and cheese on a bagel they pout it on the wrong bagel and had to remake it ! It was the worst egg and cheese ever ! They use eggs out of a carton not real eggs . I threw half of it in the garbage -what a waste of 9.00 - never again ! I don’t expect a response because I’m sure they don’t care anymore .

This amateur hour operation runs out of bagels with HOURS left of operating hours constantly. If this is a bagel shop, why run out of bagels by noon? Make more. Do your jobs. Or close shop. Simple as that.

As a NJ native, this is the closest I’ve had to the bagels and hard rolls I ate growing up. Service was great. Breakfast sandwich was huge and could barely finish half! Will be back in the near future since it’s practically in walking distance of our house.

This place is awful I’ve made my way around the semi local stores and this one is the worst by far! The blonde lady needs to consider that the staff are also only human and watch how she speaks to them! This was not a friendly fun experience! The bagels are missed shaped and not toasted double when ordered that way!! The staff seems miserable! If I had to guess it’s probably poor management! I will be a repeat customer to Brooklyn water bagel but it will not be this store!! I hope they can fix their issues!

Was there today and i went to get ice and water no ice so I was checking the machine make sure I was doing it right and I happened to see MOLD told the gentlemen that was there and I guess just whipping it down with a rag that was wiped on everything else was gonna do the the

Do not go to this bagel place. Every single time I come into this place they mess my order up. Today I went in for two bagels, one with no egg and a lox bagel, and 2 side orders of hash browns. After waiting 25 min I was given three bagels all three with eggs on it and no hash brown sides. 25 mins and your one job is to make a damn bagel. I called back to tell them they massively messed my order up and I didn’t have time to return back to the store because I already wasted 25 mins there and have to get back to work. I requested a refund and they were unable to do so. Instead they took my name and number , as if I’d ever return to this establishment, not to mention the ORDER WAS 25$!? This place sucks.
