One of the worst golf courses I’ve played at in a long time. Couldn’t even get through 9 holes and left. Sand everywhere until you get to the green, then it’s sand and mud there too.

Course is completely dead. Currently in chapter 11 bankruptcy it’s holding on barely to some of the greens with watering. Not the Fairways and Tee box's, as they are all sand and weeds. Sad story because this course has some great features and length that could make it great with care. Unfortunately this one is now going to need a complete redo and new owners.

Probably used to be quite nice

Fairways are like a desert with weeds everywhere. Dead not dying grass. Greens are in fair shape. The course needs lots more water and will take months if not a year to come baçk. Several months ago the workers were doing maintenance and I thought they were putting money into the course. But after today, not going back for a while.

My husband and I are visiting from Vermont and had a great time at this course! We were able to get out in the afternoon without a pair up and played the round in under 3 hours. I can’t believe this place isn’t busier! The course was absolutely gorgeous with lots of birds and some challenging holes with several tee selections. The bartender was super accommodating and friendly. Would highly suggest changing the name of this course on the phone message, 18 Birdies etc. If youre using 18 Birdies, the app shows the front 9 as the back 9 and the back as the front but we figured it out.

Really nice! My understanding is they’re under new ownership, and you can tell they’re making an effort to improve the course and facilities.

Course is improving. Still work to do, but it's clear work has been done. The layout and challenge remain, worth it to give it another chance

First time playing Links of Lake Mary, and I was not prepared—in a good way.

You can tell the course is coming back to life under the new ownership. Things are clearly heading in the right direction, and it already plays way better than you’d expect for a course in “rebuild mode.” If this is the before version, the after is going to be dangerous.

Then there’s the price. For what you pay, it almost feels like you’re getting away with something. Elevation changes on the back 9 (in Florida, of all places), a fun layout, and a course that keeps you engaged the whole round—you cannot beat the value.

And let’s be honest… the real MVP is Summer behind the bar. Whether you’re celebrating a great round or emotionally recovering from the back 9, she’s friendly, quick, and somehow knows exactly what you need in a glass. Every great golf course needs a great bartender—Links of Lake Mary nailed it.

Between the improving course, the killer value, and Summer saving rounds one drink at a time, this place is an easy recommendation. I’ll definitely be back.

Spence is a jerk and has no idea how to run a golf course..also the course is in sub par conditions. With no food options..2..of 5

Getting back into the old Timacuan form. Greens were nice. New bunkers next month or so. This place will be minty soon enough. For $47, I will definitely be back.
