As many of you know this course was a gem for many years and then it was left unattended for far too long. I reviewed this course about 6 months ago and found the course to be practically unplayable. The fairways, tee boxes and greens were abysmal, and it was overrun with weeds, sand and black ants. When a friend from out of town asked to play there earlier this week, I almost declined but I'm grateful that I just went with their request after reading some recent reviews....
I recently had the pleasure of playing a round at Links at Lake Mary, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The customer service was outstanding with staff members going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit.
The course layout is amazing offering a tough and challenging experience. That is also incredibly fun. It’s clear the course is a much better shape than the last time I was here with noticeable improvements in the maintenance and overall condition.

I really wanted to rate this higher. I have not played this course in a while. I remember years ago, this course was incredible. Now, it’s a good value as you can see the potential of the course. Tee boxes had little grass. Greens were not good, ball would bounce and impossible to read. Bunker sand was good.
Could not understand why the sprinklers would be going off especially on greens when we are playing, we basically picked up before we got soaked.
