First visit and was very pleased. True local pub setting, friendly people, and excellent food. The best part was the service... very personable and helpful staff—genuine and down to earth. Free parking, high-vibe social environment. Moderately priced. Will go again!

B&B brought it for Valentine’s Day. The Tomahawk was on point plus all other salads and sides. Only complaint was maybe Brussels were a bit too involved but best mushrooms I ever had. Lily was a gem and appreciated her attentiveness. Great date night!

This place has fallen apart. We have been coming ever since this building was Aaron's table (much better, btw). During Covid when the transition took place we continue to support the new owners, since we had been to brick and barrel in Lake Park previously and liked it.

In the last almost five years, the prices have gone up faster than most restaurants around town, while the quality and quantity of the meals has gone down markedly. This last visit was the final straw for us. The chimichurri that came with the steak tasted like they just ground up parsley and put it in water or something, no garlic or anything else. The "10 ounce" steak that I got seemed more like a 6 ounce steak, dry and overly salty. The Alfredo pasta my wife got looked like a can of dog food and made her sick to her stomach. The food was seriously disgusting, also.

Then the bill comes, as usual, always over $60 per person, what you would expect to pay for a good meal.

I've eaten better food out of a plastic helmet at a baseball game.

To top things off, I asked whether they made an amaretto sour in the traditional way; the answer was yes, so we ordered two; the amaretto sours came and they had egg whites in them (not traditional by any means), and they stunk (guessing something was wrong with the egg whites). Sometimes it's OK to just do things the normal way instead of having to be a unique snowflake in every way.

Don’t bother. Was excited to learn that this is an Eagles bar and they hyped it all over social media. My wife and I tried to go to the bar two hours ahead of the game and even though it was empty they would not let us in without a reservation. Not even at the bar. We were not even allowed to step inside. Understand that there are limits with crowds, but when I asked how we could make a reservation, they didn’t even know how to do it. We will not even try to go back.

And following this review, the owner questioned whether I was a Philly fan. In Philly, they don’t restrict who is allowed in for their elitist private parties. Go birds! Also, if you want to watch the game, go to square grouper, they let everybody in.

The best cocktail I have ever had, the best cocktail with the hard truth toasted coconut rum. Peabo is an incredible mixologist!

I love their monthly bourbon dinners! I recently moved here from Chicago and was missing the monthly whisky tasting events. So glad I discovered Brick & Barrel! The food is excellent and pairs beautifully with the drinks. Their bourbon selection is impressive and the cocktails are well-balanced. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and friendly! You may want to Uber to the event because they are very generous with their pours and each course comes with a drink :)

I was skeptical going back after some of the reviews, but the food, drinks, and service was top notch.

My wife and I stopped in on Sunday to pre game and have a cheesesteak, as we had heard they had a “Philly” menu. Well two sandwiches and a two beers for $60 for a subpar sandwich was unacceptable and won’t be back. As a Philly guy, we were very excited to check it out as we drove down from Stuart. There was only one gentleman try to wait and service the entire restaurant. There was a group of three that sat at a table at first, but not getting service they went to the bar where they eventually got up and left. Loved the looks of the place and outside seating was a plus.

Honestly a little bummed writing this review. I saw their Philly night and was excited about a good quality cheesesteak. While the flavor was good, they severely skimped on the meat. I’d bet there was no more than 3oz of steak on a $21 cheesesteak. That’s no genuine Philly cheesesteak. Greedy and unacceptable IMO.
