The food is always nice and hot here as it was this time. I called it Splurger King because the price is so high. Double Whopper Plain a regular whopper and 2 medium fries costing over $20. No drinks. Its tasty , but so expensive. 4 stars just because of price and nothing else. Good place, painful on the wallet.

Lk. Placid, Fl. Clean, only 2 cash registers. Only 3 people plus me inside. 2 long lines outside. Susie waited on me, familiar face she used to work at BK in So. Sebring, Fl which has really detairiated in the past 4 yrs. Inside filthy. Soda machine filthy with soda all over floor and machine counter. No napkins, food on floor behind counter and boxes for FF, and tables dirty and floor. Haven't been in 6 mos. Thought I would stop in and just to see if had changed and no it hasn't. Poor management and workers. Will not go back even drive thru after seeing where my food was being prepared.

Every table was dirty and there was only one being used by an employee. They were not busy! There was one gentleman waiting on a Togo order. That was it. We ordered three meals and one with iced tea. She handed me three cups. There was no ice tea out there. I brought it to the manager’s attention that there was no ice tea container out here. She whipped her face more in my direction and said, EXCUSE ME!” in a nasty tone. All three orders of fries were cold. I’m the only one that returned mine. My husband just said, “it’s not worth dealing with that lady.”. The manager argued with me saying they were hot when she gave them to me. They were not! My nieces burger was pink instead and had onions on it when it was specifically ordered without. Mine had pickles and was ordered without! This isn’t rocket science!! The woman’s bathroom had no toilet paper and no soap in the handicap stall. I’m handicapped. The single stall had peed on toilet paper all over the seat! I have one question why would you keep this lazy nasty mouth manager at any location?!?! Go somewhere else where your money won’t be wasted!

The absolute worst customer service experience. Also an Uber driver and y'all are supposed to have the food ready and sealed. I understand if you just received it, but I wait forever!!!!! And y'all are so rude about it too.. I report you to Uber every time and your higher ups! No sense of urgency or respect here. Also, dipping your hands in the dirty water then touching food is a health hazard!!

Last night was our last visit to Lake Placid Burger King. Very seldom have I left this location happy. If you like standing inside (with no line) for 5 to 10 minutes to have your order taken, then this is the place for you. The employees here don't care. We will go to Sebring from now on. We walked out hungry and went to Wendy's.
Staff were welcoming and friendly, even to my dog! The grounds are beautiful, calm, and well cared for. Worth the drive.

I got cini minis tonight. NO ICING??? Look I got into a car accident tonight and all I wanted was to kick back in my recliner chow down on some cini minis (mind you it’s a childhood favorite). After getting done being TBONED I get home in hopes the cini minis will make my night better. What did I find. NO ICING. Bro I am so mad. Lost my car now my cini minis???? This was your second and final chance Burger King in lake placid. I will take my business 25 min down to road to Sebring. At least they never let me down on my icing. Not only are the roads terrible in lake placid but the service you people have. #justiceforthecinimini
