Home Run Cafe is an absolute gem, serving up delicious food with the kind of warmth only a true family-owned restaurant can provide. From the moment you walk in, you know you’re getting a great meal, with friendly service and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Classic downtown brown line cafe. The eggs are fluffy, the gravy didn’t come from a can and home fries are a home run. I highly recommend breakfast here, and it does not break the wallet.
Best Club sandwich in Lake Placid
Everything was delicious! Fluffy French toast, tasty kielbasa, the home fries reminded me of Bojangles , so good, the best around! Friendly staff, chef brings your food up to you right away, no waiting for server. Cozy cafe, diner style coffee, will be back for sure!

We eat here frequently and we love it. Family owned and run, and the baked goods are so yummy! Everything is homemade. Reasonably priced and worth a stop!
Very nice attention very delicious food
I’ve been to this place twice the food is good but the service is terrible. My son and I enjoyed the food here the day before and decided to come back to try some other items. We walked in and all the tables were full. We were told to sit at the counter and when a table opened up we would be seated. We waited, and more people entered the restaurant looking to be seated. A table finally opened up which consisted of two tables that were pushed together. The female waitress separated the two tables and then seated two couples that just walked in. I was in disbelief as I had been waiting at the counter for 15 minutes for a table. During that 15 minutes I tried to order food but was told to wait till we got a table. I told the waitress thats not fair we have been waiting, she couldn’t come up with an excuse, I paid for an orange juice I ordered and me and my son walked out. I then went to Oscar’s kitchen which we have never been to before and had better food and service. The Homerun has good food but needs to work on service and how you treat your customers. Nobody seemed to care about what happened. You lost two customers and will share my experience with those in my community
Great place, good food.

Their homemade bagels and pastries are the bomb. Great food..great prices
Friendly efficient attractive staff. Decent food and prices
I can't believe we waited so long to try this place. We've heard great things for a while. It's our new favorite breakfast place.
had tasty philly cheese steak sandwiches. The dill sauce was a nice addition. They were very busy, took a while to be seated and waited on. The place is small, but the staff is most polite, just a busy place. The seasoned fries were cooked perfectly.
Ask about the chocolate gravy! Its delicious!!
