Whenever you are looking to kick the chain restaurants to the curb and try a terrific local mom and pop place, this is it. Being from the Midwest, we had to try to fried pork tenderloin. It did not disappoint. This thing was huge. I had to fold it in half and it was still twice the size of the bun. Their homemade slaw was delicious too. Our daughter just had a side of fries. I had to try one and they were very crunchy and delicious. The wife decided to go with the onion rings....
Many, many years ago my grandfather used to play music here every Friday evening. My family and I had the best memories at AL’s Place. It makes me so happy to see that the place is still there and thriving.
We come here a lot of Sundays for laid back dining. We love the atmosphere. Our kids love it . There's a seperate bar area for the adults. Their meatball subs and coleslaw are delicious.
