I wanted some Mexican food but didn't realize that it was a little grocery store as well. We weren't sure how to pay for our meal because the lady who took our order said to pay up front but never gave us a ticket or anything stating what we had and unless you speak Spanish it's difficult to communicate with the front cashier but we managed to pay for our food. Also there seemed to be an awful lot of flies in the little seating area.

This is your traditional Mexican store with a restaurant. You place your orders with the ladies at the food counter. Then you pay at the front counter. Once your food is given, make sure you ask for whatever it is you might need extra at the time. There is no follow-up once your food is served. You can always walk up to the food counter and ask for whatever you might need later. (To go containers) The food portions are generous, and the prices are fair. It is worth a stop if you're in the area and looking for a filling lunch. The look of the restaurant reminds me when you go to another country and eat where the locals eat. Does not look the best, but LA Botana definitely serves its purpose.

I ordered a few things from Uber eats from this place and wow!! The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Pollo a la diabla, a taco al pastor and a gordita. All were so well Seasoned and the diabla is now my favorite Mexican dish of all time! I will definitely be ordering again. Thank you!
