Great little spot for a hearty breakfast. Our group ordered the veggie omelette with potatoes, breakfast cuban, grilled cheese with grits and a side of bacon... and let's just say - we all left as full and happy campers. The coffee was hot and strong and the service was fast and friendly. Great spot for a quick bite!

My Wife, sister and I went for breakfast at Mama D's. We stayed in a lodge about 40 miles away. The food was so good and the waitresses very efficient and friendly, we went back the next day. Its a quaint little place that might remind you of the 70's. You will NOT be disappointed.

Oh man, I stumbled on this place while working out in BFE one day. Pretty decent Cuban, the tater tots were VERY good! I'll be back for sure when I'm passing through the area.

This is a little hole in the wall right off of Route 60. The food was good just a little slow on being served. Price was right and everything was pretty tasty. Good place to stop on route 60 on the way to Tampa.

This place is a hidden gem! it's about 20 minutes away from River ranch which is where we were staying and about 13 minutes from lake Wales. This restaurant was on the way back home so we decided to give this place a shot since I'm always open to trying and finding new places. My family was happy from start to finish. The place looks small from the outside but is quite spacious with inside and outdoor seating. The decor and entire vibe of the place is very welcoming and with a "home" feeling. I had the famous Mama D's burger with an egg on top since almost all the customers were having it so I decided to give it a try. Mouth watering! So many delicious flavors. I can see why it is a local favorite! My family had the French toast with eggs, bacon, etc and they said it was delicious! I'm in the area once a year and I look forward to coming back again!
