The room we were seated in was dirty, and the service was very slow. Arrived and seated at 5, first course at 5:50, salad around 6:05 and food didn't arrive until 6:30. The food was ok. No salt or pepper shakers on tables. Those of us in that room pasted around the one that we requested. No diet drinks and water were served in plastic disposable cups. Extra water was brought and left on the table in a 2 cup measuring cup.

My husband & I were going out for a Celebratory dinner at NORBEY’S in Lake Wales. We arrived, Aug 4th , Friday Night at 7:20pm, we checked in at the counter and rang the bell/buzzer. There was a Waitress behind the counter she looked at us and never spoke until she was walking off & said someone will be with you in a minute. We stood there for at least 55 minutes & during this time I asked the same Waitress that we saw 3 different times, when we first came in if someone was going to seat us and she replied, in a minute. We noticed there was many empty tables and there were only 3 occupied tables. Finally, a Waitress came out to seat us @8:15pm. The waitress took our drink order right away and we gave her our order. By now there is only 1 table occupied. It took 25 minutes before we received our Salad and it was good. I order the Fried Shrimp @$27.99 My husband ordered the Ribeye @$39.99. I got 11 shrimp with Collard Greens which was served in a very small Ranch dressing container, the same size as the Cocktail container. The food was ok but you don’t get much for the High price you pay. We also had to go ask for the bill after waiting for 10 minutes or so. We left the Restaurant around 9:15 pm. We were so disappointed and will never darken their door again!

Atmosphere tonight, ordered a ribeye, was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. Def would come back. Downfall is there was only 2 couples in the restaurant and no music. Def. Want to try it again on a different day.

Atmosphere nice, but really dirty, bathroom really needs cleaned updated and enlarged. Food excellent, but took forever to get it. We were told it was really good, we drove over an hour to get there. When we called ask if reservations were needed they said no, but no tank tops, or flip flops. So we dressed up, didn't need to.

The steaks were good...not the best we've had. The overall food was horrible...we ordered June's special: it came with shrimp cocktail, 6 oz filet, salad, baked potato, veg, dessert & garlic bread for $29.99 each 1st shrimp cocktail was nothing special...shrimp were big but it was as if they were thrown is a cheap bowl with a small piece of lettuce & a slice of lemon 2nd salad was iceberg lettuce, a few pieces of onion, a few pieces of black olives for a can and a small piece of tomatoes, dressing in cheap container 3rd bread almost appeared to be cut up hotdog buns with butter and garlic salt 4th Meal baked potato was rather small, with butter, sour cream was in a small sealed container (asked for extra upon ordering for both did not receive), steak was seasoned good and tender, veg (corn) was canned served in a extra small plastic sauce cup and canned, had to get up and get extra butter and sour cream because the waitress did not come back to the table (they were not that busy),.. another waitress handed me the sauce cup with butter (which looked as though it had been dipped out of and had melted) and two more small things of sour cream (which was enough however the were hot) 5th Tea was good if you like drinking out of a plastic dollar tree measuring cup We got dessert to go (haven't looked at it yet.. but my expectations are not very high. We had not been at this restaurant in a while, bc it's a little far. So for almost $68.00 (not including the tip) we received a meal that we could have went to Walmart an bought the same stuff and cooked it at home for probably $25.00 maybe $30.00 with much bigger steaks. Also, I forgot to mention the over whelming smell of mold or something when you first walk into the door, I almost said lets go then but we were hungry and wanted something different (wish I had now and saved money). This restaurant is not what it used to be by far and if your looking for a decent meal for the price this is not the place. I have NEVER written a review here or anywhere, but I wanted people to be aware, before they dropped a lot of money on garbage!!

Really cool atmosphere. I enjoyed just looking around at everything on the walls and ceiling. My waitress was really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly and it tasted amazing. Don't change a thing. I absolutely loved it. I'm surprise to actually be amazed by this spot. It's worth the visit. Well worth it.

Had an excellent experience last night for dinner. Appetizers were awesome. My steak was perfect as well as the scallops and shrimp. Baked potato was just the way I liked it and I always look forward to the greens! The service was great, too! I highly recommend Norbys Steak and Seafood in Lake Wales!Parking: Parking was no problem.
