Great local bar but not sure why the keep it lit like a runway at night. Turn down the lights a touch and it would be much more like a bar than an airport.

Clams we ordered smelled like straight up rotten garbage. Couldnāt even attempt to eat and sent them back. Later found out the kitchen staff DID smell the rancid clams. Build a burger had things on there (bacon) that was not ordered but missing what was ordered (onion ring). Mahi sandwich was rubbery and tasted like it was microwaved. Only ate 1/4 of it. Server never asked why I didnāt eat my sandwich. Conch fritters, draft beer, and sweat tea were fine. Serve wasnāt great either. Will NEVER return.

4 family members for dinner. Waitress started off good and then went downhill fast. 4 drinks ordered. Two Pina coladas were literally half full of whipped cream. Mojito was severely missing mint. Food was big portions. Seafood paella special was marginal. After eating 3 shrimp( extremely tiny) that had no tails on them . Several remaining ones had the tails, a severe choking hazard. The mahi mahi pieces were dry and over cooked. When we asked for the check, a to go box and extra brown gravy for remaining meatloaf the waitress disappeared for over 25 mins. When she returned it was the wrong check ( one for 45 , not ours which was over 100). I took another 5 mins to get right check. We still didn't have the to go box nor the brown gravy. That took another 10 mins. Meanwhile the line was out the door with people waiting for tables. 40 mins wasted that the table could have been turned. This resturant has great potential but needs tweaking by an outside consultant.

AJ's has become our go-to for lunch on tuesdays. Food is always good, Services always good
Ordered the fish fry again and was very disappointed. Had to send back was not cooked the first time. Second time came back half the size. When discussed with the waitress she could care less. The Reuben was very good with the sweet potato fries.

The service at the bar was terrible!! The 2 female bartenders cared only about the people that they knew and the rest of of could have sat there all night. I heard one other patron comment on the poor service and then we all wondered why it took 15 minutes to get a bill and pay. First visit, Last visit!!
