We go at least 3 times a month. The only reason they got a four was because they were out of shrimp and I had guest there because I just got married. Overall food and atmosphere is great.

very upset about my order I called the first time stating can I get my plantain crispy and more fat didnt get it that way i got the opposite rice was over cook,meat was all hard (no fat)and some of my plantain was undercooked.The lady that pick up said yes but didnt ask for my name then quickly hung up. I called again making sure she got the information with my name so she know what order is requesting because in the addition description it said call restaurant not taking request you must called to make a request .Im following the directions for what is being ask to do but not getting what Im asking to be done.What is crazy to me im a paying customer I spoke there native tounge so there wasn't any miss understanding.

There was a time when Albert’s was notorious for their bad customer service and food. Then they did the renovation, and for a while things significantly improved. However, now I’m not too sure if they’ve changed management or cooks, but I see them declining back to how they were. I won’t speak on their customer service over the phone, because I know it’s busy trying to handle in-person and phone orders at the same time. However, they don’t tell you how long the food will take to be ready. My experience was that I ordered a pate kode over the phone, drove 10 minutes there, and when I got to the counter and someone finally came to assist me, she told me it wasn’t ready. That’s fair, as only about 15 minutes had passed since I called. I went outside to take a call, finished the call, and sat there with no updates on my order. When I asked, the lady acted like she didn’t hear me, but I know she did, because she was conversing with the kitchen in Kreyol about my order, just not to me. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I eventually left because it wasn’t worth it.

I came here and I got a lalo and a pate kode.. first of all he had the audacity to ask me if I want to add eggs for $2 extra.. what kind of place charges for eggs? All the other places I go to already have eggs including.Then when I got my receipt I look and the lalo is $30!!!! Then I told him why didn’t tell me the price and he’s arguing back and forth with me saying yes he did but if he did I wouldn’t never got it. Then I ask for a refund since I just ordered and they haven’t made the order. He says no. I’m currently disputing the charge with my bank because that’s ridiculous.

I was very disappointed with my visit to Alberta’s. The customer service was poor walking in felt like we didn’t even exist, and no one seemed able to speak English, making communication extremely difficult. On top of that, the food portions were smaller than expected, and they even wanted to charge extra for sauce on the side. Overall, a frustrating experience that I wouldn’t recommend.
