I was very disappointed with my visit to Alberta’s. The customer service was poor walking in felt like we didn’t even exist, and no one seemed able to speak English, making communication extremely difficult. On top of that, the food portions were smaller than expected, and they even wanted to charge extra for sauce on the side. Overall, a frustrating experience that I wouldn’t recommend.

Food is great. Prices are not. $20 chicken and rice plates.
Very terrible customer service! Food is rushed and nothing is organized. I would suggest new management and more of a welcoming atmosphere. I would suggest shutting this place down and letting go of the idea of cuisine.
Man I really like this place but something changed. Even though they don’t care to change it, if it’s the employees or what just ordered my food and got home and it wasn’t the right order, yes I could’ve opened while I was at the restaurant, but like why would that be a concern. Really ridiculous But oh well I guess

The recent changes in the staff have significantly impacted the quality of service at this establishment. In particular, the employees handling the phone lines have exhibited a lack of professionalism and courtesy. They frequently interrupt conversations, hang up on you, make incorrect orders, and fail to acknowledge their mistakes. While the establishment was once a favorite of mine, the current staff has made it difficult to continue patronizing. It is imperative that management takes immediate action to address these issues before the business suffers further losses.

So I'm pretty sure the reviews that give this place more than 1 star are either old or part of the staff. Now I used to know the Owner of this spot. Jordan and I went to the same church and were in the same choir. He's a great guy. I would go in and find him working behind the counter all smiles, wonderful food and very polite with customers. That was about 8 years ago. NOW. This place has terrible customer service, food is okay ish. They don't answer the phone. When they do they put you on hold and never come back or just hang up. They don't speak to you in a polite manner and they DON'T CARE. I'd rather go to my local Haitian spot (which is sub par) than drive here, just to be treated like trash and given the food out of same. Idk if Jordan is still the owner. If he's not then maaaaan somebody close ts down. If he is...... Dude... do better 🤦🏽♀️

This food tastes amazing. It's really, really, really good. I recommend you order ahead because ordering in person has a very long wait.
UPDATE 8.1.25:
Visited on a Friday evening and didn’t have to wait long, but was disappointed to find out the mushroom rice is only served on Sundays—definitely the dish I was most excited to try. The other food was good, but I’ll be back to try the rice when it’s available.
The absolute WORST in customer service. They are never happy, dont greet you, they are RUDE, takes a VERY long time to get your food, COLD food, they NEVER have patties available. It's just the WORST restaurant in Paml Beach County

I used to like to buy food at Alberte's restaurant regardless of the distance(40 minutes away). Lately, the food and service have been terrible. I had to throw away their food twice in the last 2 weeks. Premye fwa, se te yon calalou avek du riz. Sauce la telman pike, mwen pat ka mange li. Nobody at my house could even taste it. Deuxième fwa, semaine dernière, I drove after church to pick up some fried goat with rice that I ordered, they gave me griot covered with a few pieces of goat. I called the manager (the guy with dreadlocks) to let him know about the issue. He was super nice, he apologized, and offered an exchange. I returned the next day with my receipt, and the food. A lady called Judith that was the manager that day had a terrible attitude. The body language was horrible. I questioned her customer service in a very polite manner. She basically told me to go next time to a Caucasian restaurant. I was shocked. I spent over 10 years working as a nursing Director, and manager. I would never dare talking to anybody like that. Alberte, do better. Educate your staff....

The line always long and the service is poor. I purchased 12 Haitian patties two different times, and I was charged for the 12 patties. I was short one patty both times. I ensure the employee she counted one short and she still did not give me the patty that I paid for.

Food is good , service sucks so bad. Called at 8:41 and they open at 8am , to order a half dozen Haitian patties , get there and ask her do they take orders via phone and she said yes. I said I’ve been calling for 20 minutes and no one is picking up. She just shrugs and says oh well. I said “Oh”. Okay. Can i order half dozen Haitian patties beef. She said we don’t have. I said wow so i just drive all the way here and ya’ll don’t even have what I want. Smh such bad service !!

I’m not understanding why these people have door dash and uber if you ain’t gone look at your monitor, I order food, arrive 30 minutes later, food not ready, they ask the kitchen how long they can’t give me an answer, dude come up and say you gotta order spaghetti in the AM, so why is it still an option online??? Then he telling the cashier cancel people door dash and uber order word for word “idc put the customer or the driver cancel” great customer service right here , take people money then lie to them. Great food but yall def gotta get right. I’ll never understand how people couldn’t care less about the customer service.
