We went to Bonefish last night to celebrate our friends birthday. The food was good. Our waiter said he would comp a dessert for the birthday. The waiter said he was unable to comp the dessert after we already ate it due to our BOGO coupon that we had. We got our receipt and, unfortunately, I did not look at the bill until I paid it. He charged us for 2 desserts and an extra tea. He said he made a mistake but couldn't do anything for us but he could give us an extra BOGO coupon. I decided we are just not coming back. We will not be back.

Everything was great. Our server Beth seemed to be quite miserable to be here I get it can be hard to force a smile some days but maybe being in a business where you should make people feel welcome with a simple gesture such as a smile isn't the best place for her. Otherwise food was great.

For the first time in years, we went with another couple to Bonefish Grill. This was our first time since moving to Florida three years ago. I was shocked when we walked in at 6 PM because the place was buzzing and unbelievably packed. They must be doing something right. I thought the ambience was great. And they even had live music. What a nice surprise that was. It was clean and the decor was fresh and modern. Mark was our waiter and he was attentive and very amicable. We sat in a booth, which made it a little bit easier to hear. The menu offers entrées which come with two sides. I got a nice salad for a couple of dollars more because it was packed with lots of good greens and vegetables. I then ordered the trout which turns out to be a very large portion. It was very fresh and delicious I couldn't stop eating it. I'm from the clean plate club. I also ordered the steamed broccoli with it. I do eat a lot of vegetables in my diet. Paul had the Chilean Seabass, but started off with a very hearty corn and crab chowder soup. I would've tasted it, but he ate it so fast I couldn't believe it. Our friends ordered the same thing. The restaurant offered some warm bread and pesto sauce gratis on the table to start. Paul also ordered the Chilean Seabass with mashed potatoes and broccoli. He enjoyed it very much. When we went to pay, they accepted an AARP card which allowed us 10% off our check. They also have a loyalty program which eventually will give me discounts if I continue to eat there. We opted to have dessert at our friends home so we skipped it here. Bonefish is consistent and very fair with their pricing. It's a nice enough casual place to have dinner and we will certainly return in the future.

This is my first review and I’m proud that it was this restaurant because this is a 100% recommendation for anyone who is reading this review. Chui was the nicest and best waiter I’ve ever met. Chui even sat us down in less than 10 minutes! I ordered the Ahi Tuna Wonton Crisps and it was delicious!! I also ordered the Bangin’ Chicken Bites, Coconut Shrimp, and the Bourbon Brownie and all the foods were absolutely phenomenal!! I couldn’t believe how good the food tasted it got me and my table full quickly and we wanted to eat the dessert and only ate half of it because the food was so good! Cheers to the manager and Chui!! My new favorite restaurant! Hope to eat here again!!
