Each and every time I’ve came here I unfortunately have had to request the tables to be cleaned and had to flick off crusted food off my menus. There’s always food on the ground that gets on your shoes. This time was no different, I was greeted and I’m sure anyone with eyes could see the table was dirty but the server proceeded to give me dirty menus on top of the dirty table. I requested for it to be cleaned showing her the condition. She proceeded to get a rag that smelled rotten/dirty and wipe the table. Causing the table to now smell like dirty/murky water. It was so disgusting and unbearable I couldn’t stay seated I left. Mind you the booths are not cleaned after each customers leave , you have to ask when you ( a new customer ) is seated. If you can’t keep simple booths cleaned , floors and menus I can’t imagine the things that aren’t visible to customers. So bad for business . Oh and top of it all they charge a CONVENIENCE FEE and AUTOMATIC GRATUITY which is a scam check your receipts all 3 of them.

I came in on a Thursday afternoon. The place is pleasantly decorated. I ordered the daily special (braised pork ribs rice and beans and salad). My order took 35 min to arrive at my table. Which is very frustrating considering there were only 2 other tables being served at the time. I received 2 thin boned ribs swimming in a gravy boat of what tasted like bbq sauce. The salad was just a pile of shredded cabbage with no dressing. The beans were completely dry almost pasty. My companion’s order was incorrect and missing mixed vegetables. They took his plate back to get them, and took an additional 30 min. for him to receive his food back. Overall the service was terrible. The lack of attention from the wait staff was unbelievable. Aside from 2 out of 3 orders being brought out incorrectly, the waiter never came back to check on us (not once) while we waited for our food. Someone else brought our food out. Once we were done he finally came back only to clear the plates. The quality of the food was subpar. The tostones were drenched in oil and stale. Overall very disappointed. Needless to say my friends and I will not be coming back.

The Chicken house located in Doral Miami is way better. This place in West palm beach Their food have no flavor…. They don’t give enough food and it is overpriced. Terrible food!!! La comida terrible sin sazon…. No comida autentica de Honduras ….

The food is amazing, but sometimes the girls that do the service are mean. They didn’t wanted to sale me a horchata the girl told me like “ we don’t have more horchata” and I was like ok, I was so sad. And then someone else came and he asked for a horchata and they sale it to him, like 4. Then I told my boyfriend to go and buy it, and they did sale it to him. 🤣They told me they didn’t wanted to clean bla bla. It was at 8 pm

The only thing that would make this place better is if I spoke Spanish. Portions were large, tasty, and reasonable cost... I highly recommend this place.

What a rip off this Chicken house is! What in the hell is a convenience fee? Whoever heard of such a ridiculous extra charge? My wife and her sister went to the Chicken House for lunch. When the waitress brought the bill over to my wife she was in shock over the amount. The bill came to $115 which included a 20% added on tip by the establishment. Now mind you this bill was for 2 people ordering lunch. They went there for soup but, decided to order a plate of food of some kind of fish. They also ordered 2 bottles of banana soda to go. My wife called the waitress over to question why the bill was so much? The waitress explained she was new there and had no control as to what additional fees management added on. My wife complained to management and they told her any customers bill over $80 is automatically hit with a 20% surcharge for the servers tip. My wife always leaves a very generous tip always more than the minimum amount. In all of my 50 plus years of adulthood dining out I never had any restaurant automatically add on additional fees for a tip prior to paying when there was only 2 people in the party. The only time I ever had surcharges for a servers tip in my life time was if I had a party of 8 or more dining out for dinner. Never when only 2 people dining out for lunch. Neither my wife or her sister ordered alcoholic beverages. This establishment needs to understand what the rules are and post these rules in plain sight for all their customers to read prior to customers sitting down and placing their order for meals. I can tell you this establishment has certainly lost us as a customer. My wife, sister and myself included will never patronize this Chicken House on S. Military Trail in Lake Worth, Florida ever again.

I got the fried chicken con tajadas it was so delicious 😋! I felt like my grandma was back there cooking!!! The portions are super big ...I fully recommend this place and the staff was amazing 👏.
