Chris’ Taverna is a true gem for anyone who loves authentic Greek cuisine. The atmosphere is charming, especially the outdoor seating, which makes for a very pleasant dining experience. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepare. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every dish. The octopus is amazing perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the lamb chops are outstanding, cooked just right and absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, even with the restaurant being quite busy. Great value for the price and an experience that definitely makes you want to come back. Highly recommended!

I'm visiting from Australia, and my cousin took us to her favourite Greek restaurant Chris’ Taverna on the 3rd of September and it absolutely lived up to the hype! From the moment we sat down, everything was fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing: warm, fluffy pita, the creamiest, most flavourful tzatziki, beautifully cooked chicken, and those lemon potatoes were to die for. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of love. Our server Vicki truly made the experience even better. She was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She took the time to chat with us, made sure we had everything we needed, and her constant smile made us feel right at home. To top it all off, Vicki even got us some extra pita and tzatziki to take back to the hotel the perfect late-night snack! Highly recommend Chris’ Taverna for anyone looking for authentic Greek food and genuinely warm service. Can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous food!!! Tremendous portions ! Excellent service! We travel a distance and go out of our way to try to have dinner there weekly … it is that good! Jordan, the manager is exceptional ! Not only is he kind and helpful, he clearly takes pride in assuring his customers get quality food served efficiently by staff who are attentive and who genuinely provide outstanding customer service .. a great reflection on him and his superior restaraunt !! Delicious ❤️
Was or is the best gyro that I have ever eaten IN MY LIFE handsdown. I’m absolutely speechless and that was just their wrap folks! Can’t wait to edit and add picture!

If you’re looking for the most authentic Greek dining experience in South Florida, look no further than Chris Taverna in Lake Worth. From the moment we sat down, everything was spot-on. The pita bread was incredibly fresh, and their sauces delicious….and the octopus was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully grilled. The Greek salad was crisp and well-balanced, just like it should be.
We ordered the Trio Platter, which included Moussaka, Pastitsio, and Spanakopita—a perfect way to sample their classics, and every bite was delicious. We paired our meal with Mythos beer, which complemented everything nicely. And don’t even get me started on the desserts—the homemade Baklava and Galaktoboureko were the perfect sweet finish.
To top it all off, our food arrived within 8 minutes, and the service was outstanding. Jordan and Angel went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about great service.
Without a doubt, Chris Taverna is the best Greek restaurant in South Florida. Can’t wait to go back!
