I didn’t love living in Florida when my job brought me here. It felt so different from the warm spaces back home in Louisiana. One day I stepped inside the Lake Worth Common Ground and finally felt a sense of community and peace. I don’t know what it is about that location but all of my most productive and best days are spent there. I discovered the iced Cafe Miel and getting it in the high ball glasses they have is literally my favorite thing ever.

Coffee and pastries are great. Cleanliness, not so much. Nobody cleans the tables in between customers or routinely sweeps the floor. I always find crumbles on my table and visible dog hair or crumbles on the floor. I have to take an allergy pill before coming here due to my dog allergies. Also leather chairs have ton of rips and the place is unkept. I come here often because the location is convenient to me and I like their coffee. Wish they would take better care of the space they have.

$7.49 for 1 chocolate croissant! Prices went up again. Covid is long over but establishments continue to raise prices despite already inflated pricing. Even my local coffee shop is now $15 for a coffee and a croissant! No lunch just a coffee and a croissant.
Update: They do still have the best vibe though of all the neighborhood cafes lol
So I upgraded to a 4 lol

A truly welcoming place, with places to sit and do solitary work as well as areas for friends to have good conversations. The piano is a plus, and patrons are welcome to serenade the room. There are board games and books, and overall the community feeling is perfect. Did I mention the best coffee ever? The staff are great - patient coffee artists who take the time to get it right.

I had a bagel egg and bacon with cheese. It was very good. The bagel was warm. The sandwich is very good as satisfying.

Common Grounds is a cozy, community-focused coffee shop known for its warm vibe, friendly staff, and quality drinks. I love their lattes with unique flavors (like honey-cinnamon or lavender). They also have fresh pastries.

On the downside, the café can get crowded during peak times, and their vegan food options have become more limited compared to the past.

Overall, it’s a great spot for good coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and community connection.

Come here a lot as they have English breakfast tea like I get back in 🇬🇧, the ambience is great and the staff super friendly, highly recommend it and a great place to study, the only downside is the WiFi is absolutely terrible they need to get stronger WiFi booster for the seating area as even when I use xfinity streaming wifi it’s no good
