I didn’t love living in Florida when my job brought me here. It felt so different from the warm spaces back home in Louisiana. One day I stepped inside the Lake Worth Common Ground and finally felt a sense of community and peace. I don’t know what it is about that location but all of my most productive and best days are spent there. I discovered the iced Cafe Miel and getting it in the high ball glasses they have is literally my favorite thing ever.
Coffee and pastries are great. Cleanliness, not so much. Nobody cleans the tables in between customers or routinely sweeps the floor. I always find crumbles on my table and visible dog hair or crumbles on the floor. I have to take an allergy pill before coming here due to my dog allergies. Also leather chairs have ton of rips and the place is unkept. I come here often because the location is convenient to me and I like their coffee. Wish they would take better care of the space...
