Food ok, but they took my order and took 20 mins for 3 tacos. Like the didn’t care if they serve or not.

The rice is raw, I don't know if they know how to cook, but I don't recommend it.

Nancy, Jules & WPD attempted a trial run of flaneuring. Our first stop was in Lake Worth Beach, Flo-Ri-Da at Restaurant El Esperanza, a Guatemalan joint on Lucerne. Luckily, a customer spoke just enough English to help us order. Evidently, they don't get many gringos because the counter clerk, a middle school age girl, sheepishly smiled and shrugged. The cook, likely the girl's mother, was unable to decipher neither our English nor our Spanish. We ended up with three chicken tacos, served with a green sauce & limes on the side. DELICIOUS !!! And we made a friend of the young man who helped us.

New favorite. Authentic. The main language is Spanish and we do not speak Spanish. Everyone is kind and treats us well. They have some food prepared already like in a cafeteria, but they are happy to make anything you request off the menu. The flavors are great and the food is simple. Also not very expensive. We found them by chance and loved it. We decided to go back last weekend and the this weekend. Probably go back again regularly. The food is great. Very small shop.

Always paid $2 or less for a taco here. Went recently and the woman said the tacos are $3.50 each. This isn’t Rocco’s, it’s a hole in the wall with little to no A/C, doors wide open and flys buzzing your food and head. Would gladly pay $2 each and enjoy a taco or two with my fly friends in the heat but $3.50 is ridiculous. Avoid this place and hit up Tacos al Carbon if you want cheap, authentic tacos.

For me it was a very good restaurant but Las empliadas are disrespectful because being a Guatemalan and since they saw me in a very different way from others they made me less and attended more to their acquaintances and friends

This was my first time trying the restaurant and was looking forward to something similar to food I have enjoyed at many Mexican restaurants. 3 people were on staff, however, the woman taking my order may not have undestood. I do not eat meat(carne) instead asked for fish(pescado) . It was Ok that they did not have the fish today. I asked for shrimp(camaron) ) and was told they could make a taco with shrimp . I asked for lettuce tomato. but that was not available . The smallest taco I ever had was presented in my TO GO order. shrimp and cilantro and onion all in miniature proportions. Good thing I ordered 2. I also ordered a vegetarian burrito. the burrito consisted of rice, black beans and a bit of cilantro....no vegetables.I wanted to leave a good impression , treat the staff fair, so I left $3+tip on $13.68 bill. When I got to auto and checked out order , the food was half quanity of what it would have been other establishments. I think this place is well liked by locals that walk to the restaurant as I observed many others frequenting the place.
