I went for lunch with my friend, we ordered within 10 minutes of being seated. Had our drinks and waited almost an hour and constantly asking when we'd get our food. We even let them know we'd take it to go since we have to return to work. An hour later we got up and went to the counter to pay for our drinks and canceled the food. NOT EVEN A SORRY FROM OUR WAITRESS. First time for my friend but we are NEVER going back.
Just found a piece of plastic in my friends steak taco so please be careful. But I do honestly enjoy the food. The workers need to be more aware.

Being a local to the area I’ve patronized this chain for the last 10ish years. This location is one of my favorites because it’s typically consistently clean and the service is above average (in comparison to their other locations). Today we went in for a quick lunch and was told they don’t have chips and salsa. Although everyone around us had some and were given some after seating after us. We ordered our usual: two veggie burritos without cheese. They arrive with sour cream and the waitress gets visibly annoyed. “Is the sour cream not okay” we ask since when have they been adding sour cream to their burritos. She doesn’t answer and walks away. What a strange thing to do; add something similar to what we removed?

I love this place but my last 2 visits remain the same. I’ve never been to restaurant where the waiter leaves and someone new is taking my order, they are not very tentative they just walk around and giggle at the bar, but when it comes time to pay it’s a Grammy award “is their anything else we can do for you? Let me help get you a bag and a box.” Yeah but how about offering that service while I’m here eating, and waiting for my food. Also last 2 times I’ve come here quality of food is different. New owners are cheap and you can tell with both lazy employees and food quality. The truck on lake worth and jog is the only salvation this company has.

I use my card at this location only once, days later I find out one of the employees at this location stole my card info and withdrew everything left in my account! The police will be in touch with you all! This is very bad business! I only came to pickup food, not get robbed!

First of all the food was disgusting, no flavor at all. The server took my husbands plate to a different table and we dont even know if they touched the food and than they realized it was ours and gave it to us. The torta was cold and soggy. They took about 35mins to serve us the cold food. When then saw another server put half water and half horchata in a cup. NOT worth your money at all. We left everything there payed for our good and left.

I have to say the employee Yari was the worst staff i have ever seen working in a restaurant, dealing with customer service in my entire life. With an attitude, rude, even though I was trying to help showing the staff that there were customer waiting to be seated, she came to my husband and I rolling her eyes not even listening to what we were trying to say. I gotta say and recognize that All other staff members were empathetic, helpful, ready to take your order, with a smile on their face. But for a Friday Night on November 11th, after a hard an tiring week of work, having to deal with a super negative attitude from 1 person in the restaurant, will make me to come back to the place. I hope she can get at least trained to have a better behavior somewhere else because tacos el carbon doesnt deserve a bad review because of 1 small stone on the shoe. They will lose money from Locals Living in Lake Worth like us.

I'm disappointed and disgusted that I have to write this review but have the Tacos al Carbon up on Lake Worth rd instead because I took me and my friend on date and it made but both of nauseous to our stomachs it was nauseating both the chicken tacos and the horchata was FOUL it was warm, lukewarm and it never used to be like that. It tastes like a nasty mint taste instead of the usual cinnamon. Getting a refund was for more difficult than it needed to be if the money is even coming back. Their food embarrassed me and my date. What a disgust what a sick disappointment. I can't have food from this location no more
I ordered fried pork fajitas and did not receive anything close to that. I got a bunch of wet unseasoned meat. The meat at the bottom of the tray was hard and cold. It looks like they just reheated some old meat and threw it in a to go tub. I will never order food from this restaurant again. The best part of the meal was the horchata although it tasted very chalky.

This used to be our go to place but I will never dine in at this location again. Customers BE SURE TO REVIEW YOUR RECEIPT CAREFULLY PRIOR TO PAYING because the waitresses have the audacity to include their own tip as a charge on the receipt without your consent. I know some receipts can show a suggested gratuity percentage but ultimately customers decide how much they want to leave as tip. We normally order take out but have dined in at this location on several occasions and this has never happened until now. Service inside is terrible to say the least, the waitresses don’t even bother to come by and ask if you need anything else. We sat at the table for over 20 minutes trying to get their attention to ask for a to go box and the check. Mind you it was practically empty inside with only 4 tables occupied. After such terrible service these people have the nerve to include their own tip as if they provided exceptional service.. seriously?! Granted I will say I did question their “gratitude” charge and was given a cash refund for the tip amount they took upon themselves to include but this should not be happening and management should be aware that this is going on.

This place is a hole in the wall. The food is not over priced and the tacos are delicious. I really enjoy the steak tacos and the flautas there. The aguas frescas are also amazing. Best horchata I've ever had

Worst customer service ever. Waitress took down our order and read the order off to make sure it was correct. We got the food and it was the wrong. I asked for our server to come back and she said the tacos were 2 for 1. When we got the bill we were charged for the 4 tacos when we only ordered 2. Brought this issue to the manager and she was very rude and was trying to make us pay for what we didn't order. When paying she slapped the check down in front of us and rolled her eyes.
