We did not dine in, we ordered bowls of beef barley and Italian wedding soups to pick up. There was NO meat in the beef barley soup and NO meatball in the Italian wedding soup. The taste was okay but nothing like the soups were years ago. Maybe this place has new owners, but it is definitely NOT what it used to be. The soups look NOTHING like shown on the website.

I've lived down the street from this place for 6 years, but ordered for the 1st time yesterday. The Rachel sandwich and Turkey chili are phenomenal. Exactly the homemade, fresh soup and sandwich deli experience i was looking for, and the fresh-cut chips were great. . Giving it another shot today and going to try the apple pie. Can't believe I've been sleep on this place for so long. 👌🏽👌🏽

About 20 varieties of soup! We had combo, of soup and 1/2 (big) sandwich with homemade chips and pickle! Always very good. A few sit down tables. Great soup! * most soups are quite salty, so if you are like myself it may be overwhelming.

Just picked up lunch from there, used to go a lot years ago with my mother. Man how things have changed. The roast beef sandwich was really bad, tough, dry and just yucky. the chips were not fresh and were stale. Just a total $14.00 waste. The place needs some love too, needs paint and a refresh. Very sad how a good place goes bad. BTW at noon on a Tuesday only 1 other person came in and bought a cup of soup. In addition a lady who i think is the owner was eating behind the counter and wiped he mouth while talking to the only other customer. health code violation eating behind the counter. Skip this place it has lost its charm and focus.

The soup is the best I've ever had. Which soup you ask? Literally every single one of them. Like, throw a dart at the menu blindfolded - you can't miss. The service - Friendly, feisty, forever my favorite. Desserts are banger. Sandwiches are creative, delicious, and well constructed. Free bread with an order of soup? YES YES YES.
It's a must go when you're in the area.

Food was whatever nothing remarkable, super bland, and tasted off. Was very concerned by the attitude of the skinny older woman with short curly hair pony at the register, was so rude and rushed me taking my order and did not have good customer service.
We were so excited to try out this spot after hearing all the amazing reviews. We were sadly very disappointed. There was only one other person ahead of us yet it took over 45 minutes for us to get our soup and salad to go. The person making the salad was moving extremely slow and chit chatting with customers.
You could tell they were severely understaffed and overwhelmed. Wish our experience had been as amazing as some of the other patrons.
Sadly the food wasn’t that great either.. not worth it and won’t be back.

I have lived in this area for a very long time, passed this place numerous times and finally today decided to order! And boy am I glad I did! I had the Thanksgiving special sandwich which was delicious, and the butternut squash soup. I expected a butternut squash soup on the sweeter side but got a savory version of this soup and it did not disappoint! The sandwich and small soup portions were large enough that I’ll have two meals out of it. Also love their fresh chips! I will definitely be back to this little gem.

Dined here today with my daughter. Fantastic service from Toni & Heather. My husband recently had a surgery and requires liquids and puréed foods, and the staff beyond accommodated. Delicious and truly a unique place. We love it there!

I had the chicken salad sandwich and the split pea soup! It was amazing! The split pea was not too salty and had a robust flavor and texture. The sandwich was mild and light with amazing bread!!! Will most definitely be back!!!!
