I’ve had these pies since as far back as I can remember. My mother who has been at the Ring since the 80’s, has always purchased their pies. My favorite is the Key Lime. Most Key Lime pies I’ve had from others are overpowering with lime whereas Upper is mild and balanced.
It was my first visit here after hearing/reading rave reviews. I called ahead and explained I was a new customer with questions and the employee seemed annoyed. When I arrived, there were zero customers and this employee was no friendlier in person. I asked which of the fruit pies were in season to which she responded "I don't know, we use all frozen fruit anyway." Whenever I'm back in South Florida, I always stop at Upper Crust. This year we pre-ordered for Thanksgiving. The pre-order was easy, the pick-up was organized and quick. As usual they hit it out of the park. Everyone raved about the pies. Truly a gem!
