Benny's On The Beach - Oceanwalk

We were very disappointed in this restaurant. There were very few choices on the menu and they were out of the one that one of our guests wanted. Everything else was very poor. service was nonexistent.

Artichoke undercooked and sauce tasteless. Bread not available without buying a dish with cheese. Credit card fee is cost of doing business- put it in the prices. Menu too limited fir a real dinner place. Drink and snacks and eat elsewhere. Seaside restaurant with only 2 fish dishes. Salads not available with protein added. Ambiance and service excellent

PJ made sure we had a very enjoyable night from the time we walked in until we were done with dessert, the Caesar salad was absolutely delicious; blacken swordfish  and the seafood scampi were perfect.  our server was very personable and helpful. We will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Food was amazing! We started with the fried calamari (delicious and tender). Shrimp Cocktail (plump and fresh)! We were a group of 10... everyone was impressed by our dishes. From the French Dip, to the Shrimp Scampi, & Bronzino everyone was quite pleased with our meals. We ended our amazing dinner with the incredible soft serve coconut ice cream and the key lime pie. I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes!

Isn't this suppose to be a seafood restaurant? Ugh. Don't believe the pictures you see of food dishes on Open Table. That is not the menu. Hose seafood dishes are nowhere to be found on the menu. Calamari was skinny rings, so all breading. Shrimp scampi was inedible, tasted like lemon. Why would scampi taste like lemon??? Ordered two different items and came back to tell us they were out of it. This was a 6:30 pm reservation. Drinks were terrible. We ordered Manhattans, four drinks two different times. The drinks were nearly see through and all ice. Unbelievably bad. Bennys is better than this. We know. We go to the pier all the time and were so excited about the new place. No one at our table said they'd go back.

The Menu is extremely limited and very cheffy. The food we did select was good but I would definitely not return if the menu was not expanded or changed a bit. The one item I was interested in, French dip, was not available. I will say our server, I believe her name was Rachel, was great. She was attentive without being annoying and was friendly and professional. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere was good. Hope this helps Tommy

Beautiful renovation! Service was very attractive. We had two entrees: black cod and Swordfish. Swordfish which is frequently overcooked was perfect! Key lime pie, of course was yummy!

I've heard the raves about this place, but honestly—walking in, I felt like I just stepped into the 1990's. It's an old place and the care and love of such a superior location hasn't been put into maintaining the aesthetics and staffing of the restaurant. Leaving the impression the money that comes in, isn't being reinvested in the business. I was told this would be a step up to the nearby dock location, but it was not. I felt like I was eating low budget bar food and having well drinks. It wasn't the upper (or middle) class kind of place we were hoping for. It's all open, bugs, flies mosquitoes and all. No A/C. The parking is also quite confusing because a lot of the signs tell you no parking after certain hours. We had walked quite a ways from where we had to park with a serious lack for disabled parking.

Avocado toast was huge along with the waves 🌊. Great spot will be back!

Overall great experience. It was a quiet Friday night. Shrimp were well worth price and plentiful. We would go back.

Food was very good. We took my sisters while they were in town to dine with the ocean view. Service was a bit slower than normal but we weren't in a hurry so we dealt with that. Otherwise it's an enjoyable place to go.

We had a delicious meal and it was fun eating out by the ocean. Even though it was in the upper 80's the breeze and fans made it comfortable for dinner.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our experience at Benny's! We look forward to bringing friends during our next visit!

The food was average. We drove down for our anniversary. The drink i had was not so good. A ant bit me on my shoulder and I had to kill a baby spider that fell on our table. The guacamole was my favorite thing. We also ordered key lime pie and I didn't like the burnt taste of the whipped cream on top. The view of the ocean was nice. Overall experience just ok.

Beautiful seating on the beach. Service was excellent, as were the food and drinks. A little pricey, but we had a great experience.
