I've heard the raves about this place, but honestly—walking in, I felt like I just stepped into the 1990's. It's an old place and the care and love of such a superior location hasn't been put into maintaining the aesthetics and staffing of the restaurant. Leaving the impression the money that comes in, isn't being reinvested in the business. I was told this would be a step up to the nearby dock location, but it was not. I felt like I was eating low budget...
Food was very good. We took my sisters while they were in town to dine with the ocean view. Service was a bit slower than normal but we weren't in a hurry so we dealt with that. Otherwise it's an enjoyable place to go.
The food was average. We drove down for our anniversary. The drink i had was not so good. A ant bit me on my shoulder and I had to kill a baby spider that fell on our table. The guacamole was my favorite thing. We also ordered key lime pie and I didn't like the burnt taste of the whipped cream on top. The view of the ocean was nice. Overall experience just ok.
