We decided to catch a late lunch on a Saturday and decided to give Cafe Roti a try. Well to say that this was a disappointing visit is an understatement. The lunch menu offers six protein choices and a couple of apps to select from. We started with the veggie samosas that were missing peas, carrots as is typical in this app. My wife went with the chicken korma and I selected the chicken curry. We have dined in dozens of Indian restaurants across the country and this experience finished in last place. Both meals reminded us of sauces found in a jar off the grocery shelf. Bland and completely lacking originality in both dishes made for a realization that the kitchen may not be staffed by a team who have mastered this cuisine. While I never want to offer a review that is so negative, this food experience was missing the mark in so many ways I had to be as honest as possible.

Was very disappointed. Curries are so watery and bland. Rice/naan were hard and never seen such thin and small portions of naan before. Will not eat here again. Sorry but really need to improve the quality of food.

The only complaint I have is that I was too full to keep eating. The food was delicious, so good it felt rude to leave without doing my own dishes.

I’m a desi person and when I go to a desi restaurant, I expect food of better quality than of the ones I’ll make at home. And this place let me down. Below average taste. The waitress was very good at her job and I really liked her service. She was very friendly and despite the fact that she was taking others’ orders alone, I still didn’t have to wait much to place my order and even get my food. She was very attentive amd I loved that. Other than that, the food wasn’t worth the money. I literally eat food of much better taste at home.

We had really looked forward to trying Cafe Roti based on the reviews, but when we arrived this afternoon we were told we could only order take-out since they were closing at 2 PM. Disappointed, we left, assuming it was already past 2 - only to check our watch and find that it was only 1:43 PM. Never had a restaurant turn away paying customers during advertised business hours.

I simple restaurant with great food. We stop here for a meal every time we are in this area. Portions are big enough to share.

WORST Indian food I ever had in a while from a restaurant. We ordered Paneer Teeka masala, Butter Chicken and Madras Paneer gravies for take out and boy oh boy, all the gravies was so blend, tasteless and so liquidy. So the portion sizes were so small, not worth the money at all!!Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
