I’m a desi person and when I go to a desi restaurant, I expect food of better quality than of the ones I’ll make at home. And this place let me down. Below average taste. The waitress was very good at her job and I really liked her service. Eating here is usually a great experience and this visit was no difference. Our waitress was very helpful in explaining a few items to us, serving our food and drinks, and checking up on us frequently. The menu selections have a large variety for choices to fit different preferences. We did miss the former buffet however. Since two of our group are gluten free, the waitress explained we could have papadoes (sp?) instead, an excellent flat, crispy alternative. While it took some...read full review

I think this is my favorite Indian restaurant I’ve tried in Lakeland thus far (and I do love Indian so I’ve tried a good amount). They are located right off a side street of downtown and are very easy to miss walking by, but it’s a simplistic and cute place.I got the tikka masala and enjoyed it very much.
