Charlie's Mini Donuts and Coffee

THESE ARE THE BEST DONUTS EVER! I love the service and everything was amazing. Jacob was such a good help and put everything inside so good. Issac was SOOO good and i loved the way he glazed my donuts😜. You should ask for Charlie to have his way with the donuts, it’s so good and juicy!🤗

I would like to start with the fact that isaac matthew fetherhuff, 6420 royale preserve drive, gate code 1317, was an amazing server. Jacob also was amazing letting charlie completely have his way with our doughnuts😋

Let me start by saying the donuts are out if this world. Great selection of flavors and the fact that they come out hot, amazing. The service however, ridiculous. First, to be greeted as if your the last person in the world the worker wants to see, not a good way to start. Then to sit behind the counter and talk, not work and talk, just talk to your coworker, worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. It took the two guys almost 10 mins to start making donuts, due to their intense conversation about their budding social life. I understand its not your dream job guys, but if you're going to work here, work! And do it with a smile and act as if you want to be here, or don't work here. Now that you guys have the do it's down to a science, maybe its time to hire employees that actually want to provide the same level of service that your food deserves.

Update: 7 Yeats later I returned to Charlie's. This time, I went for coffee instead of donuts. The latte was fantastic and I plan on coming back again.

This is the cutest place ever, from the vibe to the mini 🍩 donuts. The staff was super sweet as well.

If the donuts were not as good as they are, I doubt this place would still be in business. Upon entering their store front, you notice instantly how unkept the place is. It looks like they haven’t cleaned in months. Fingerprints on windows, several dirty tables, dust everywhere & not to mention outdated decor - all shocking things since we came very early in the morning. Secondly, the staff was not welcoming at all. No greeting upon entering and all were sitting on their phones behind the counter. We could barely hear the guy speak to us behind the register and we had to take the initiative in ordering. Also, what’s up with no music? It’s surprising because this place does have the potential to be the cutest spot in Lakeland, however it looks like the owners abandoned it. Out of sight out of mind.

This is a hidden treasure. Charlie's Donuts is snuggled in between pizza and Cuban. The hot mini donuts and coffee are perfect for any occasion. Samoa is my favorite.

Let me tell you how amazing this place is! I was asked by my sweet dtr n law to put in an order for our little grandsons 1st birthday party. We had their custom donuts last at their baby shower and I am still thinking about them to this day so if course, I agreed! I called and spoke to a nice gal who put me in touch with Elina (owner) who was so kind and promptly helped me design his mini donuts for the big boy. I was able to send photo examples and we chatted about possible extras to make them even more special. She was great to talk to and on the big day, we messaged her to say we didn't realize how far away we lived and that we'd be about an hour before picking them up. Needless to say, I was surprised with a free gift upon arrival and while waiting, I tried there Expresso coffee and holy moly, was it a game changer!!! My hubby is from NY and drinks the strongest stuff and even he was happily impressed! ? We are now a huge fan for life! And th first bite of the freshest mini donut I had was SOOO amazing! Peanut butter deliciousness!!! Y'all need these!!!!! ???????????? Thank you Elina and Staff for making our day!
