FOOD + BEER - Lakeland

Food is expensive and mediocre at best. Tiny hamburger for $10. All sides extra money. Spent $45 for 2 cheeseburgers, fries, cole slaw, and 2 iced teas. RIDICULOUS!

Venice location: our 1st visit! Friendly service. Delicious burger and fries. Yummy chicken tacos. Love a la cart sides, so we can order what we want instead of wasting food we don’t want. Will be back many more times.

We visited the Venice, Florida location for the first time todst and never agan!! The hostess was extremely unprofessional and a complete bi*ch.  I tried to talk to the manager about it, and he was just as rude. I was completely blown away with how they made us feel. It’s unfortunate because the bartenders were amazing, but we are never going back there!!

We went to the Venice location. Our server, Savanah, was very nice and the service was quick. I wanted to try so many things on the menu because they sounded delicious. We got the Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer and it was huge! For my meal, I landed on the Malibu Barbie Wrap(chicken, bacon and guacamole in a wrap) and it was very good! I had a bite of the Legalize Marinara (chicken marinara sub) and the chicken was crispy and the marinara was delish. Fries were amazing. Will definitely come here again.

Service was awful. Took too long for drinks, to order and to get food. Quality vs price didn’t match at all. Wouldn’t recommend

Came here to watch Sunday night football with my friend, we’re visiting from Michigan and ended up sat next to the most unfortunate man to ever walk this planet. He got confrontational and nasty with us more than once and the manager, Kyle, and bartender, Neveah, handled the situation SO well.
They made our experience great and the food was incredible as well.

First time coming to this restaurant and I really enjoyed myself. Our waitress Reagan was amazing, warm, and friendly. Ordered our food and was on our table in less than 20 minutes. The food was hot, fresh, and amazing. Will definitely come back here for sure ?

Always have a great time at food and beer! Food and drinks are delicious! And we’re so happy when we come in and see cats face behind the bar… she’s the best :)

Cat is amazing! She is so friendly and good at what she does, Bartending! She knows what you want as soon as you walk in the door. I love that we can chat about our books and work etc.

If youre looking for a chill place to drink and get good food and listen to music (watch the game) come to food + beer and ask for Cat! 10/10 recommend

Food a lil pricy but they had deals on certain things and the brunch is served during football. The drinks were good too. I would say this is the perfect bar great food drinks fight night and sports. Excellent staff cant ask for more out of a bar.

My husband and I visited Food and Beer on October 20th. While the service was decent, the food was absolutely a let down... from the appetizer to my husband's dry smash burger, to my flavorless birria tacos... absolutely not worth the trip or the bill. The worse part were the fries, which arrived soggy and nasty. We're never going again.
