I had an outstanding experience at Mission BBQ in Lakeland. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The brisket was tender and full of flavor, the barbecue pork was perfectly seasoned, the ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the beans and apple cobbler were incredible. You can really tell they put care into everything they serve.
On top of that, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole visit even better. This is easily one of the best BBQ spots around, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recomme

Mission BBQ catered an event for us today. The food was delicious but what makes Mission stand out is the service and attention to detail that makes the catering service so worthwhile, like the table cover for the serving line….nice touch!). I would especially like to commend the team member that provided our delivery and setup. Thomas called in advance to confirm details and provide an ETA. When he arrived he was efficient in getting the meal setup and was so polite and courteous. He really presented a positive image for Mission.

I absolutely love MISSION bbq have been going there for years! I’m one of the team leads at a store right in the same strip as this specific mission BBQ and I go there way too much but they never disappoint! Makayla is the absolute sweetest person I’ve ever met! She goes above and beyond checks up on every guest and truly it makes my day when she is there working :)

From what I've eaten, the food is AMAZING. The service is outstanding. MUST. TRY. THE. CORN... The best corn I've ever had. I've gotta figure out that recipe.
Staff was friendly and nicely put together. The food is what was lacking here. I got a yard bird and turkey. I tried 2 of there sauce, not good. I tried 2 others, but congealed and watery. The meat has no flavor, none. The meat was dry. The seasoning they use has no flavor. It has heat, but no flavor. Green beans were good, just lot of juices in it. The only thing I think they did good with was the sweet tea. I would only come back to try their burger, but nothing else. Very disheartening.

Great food great desert! Our server Makayla was the best server i’ve met in my dining experience. Very honest and gave us great advice on the deserts here and gave us free samples. Definitely deserves a raise! Overall one of my favorite places to eat at whether it’s the food or the service. Highly recommend!

Makayla is the best server you’re gonna get. Apple cobbler is to die for. Smoked hamburger is amazing. Honestly my favorite bbq place ever.
