We live about 1 hour from Lakeland. We were going to go to another restaurant to eat, but the wait was over an hour. We decided to go to Mission BBQ since we haven't been here in over a year. So glad we did. The BBQ was outstanding. I did not like one of my sides and they had no problem switching it for me. The Blueberry cobbler was amazing. And with me being a Veteran and a retired Deputy Sheriff, I love the way they honor us.
Food is amazing as always! The staff however goes above and beyond! Offered to feed our baby while we ate, I wish we would have got her name before we left.

Cyndi is the BEST!!! What an ANGEL! This particular MISSION BBQ in Lakeland is our family’s FAVORITE location in Florida! Today, we were happy to travel 1-hour & 45-minutes to eat at this establishment! The chefs prepare food for the soul, the staff are exceptionally hospitable, and the atmosphere is absolutely joyful! A lot of laughs are always shared, and we feel blessed with every visit! So, the food, people, and place are 100% worth the travel! Make this place your #1...
