Papa Johns Pizza

Took forever to get our pizza when we ordered in October. They were nice enough to send us a promo code for a free 2 topping pizza to make up for it.....except when we tried to use it, the code they sent was invalid

I came by and got wings and they were great! My only concern is that when I was there one of your employees apparently got locked in the freezer? I used to work fast food and our freezer had a safety mechanism for that. Not sure what’s up there but I would definitely work on that for my people.👍🏼

The delivery app defaults to using “leave it at my door” option for DoorDash delivery, which is absolutely NOT what I want, nor what I selected. Leaving a note to not do this is only partially effective, hopefully a negative review will get someone to actually fix this.

Update 8/9/2025: issue still present. Steps to reproduce - choose “Door Delivery” in Papa John’s app and check out. When door dash picks up the order, it will be set to “Leave it at my door” just like the screenshot. I don’t plan to reach out as I don’t want compensation, just a fix to the app.

Just ordered the Shaq-aroni and a Philly steak and cheese Papadia. With delivery and $4 tip came to $33. Door Dash delivered. The papadia was not cut all the way through which annoys me and it was cool not hot. Taste wise, meh.. not great in my opinion. The pizza was also not cut all the way through I hate that! Just cut the damn thing ! So my first piece the pointy part tore off because it wasn’t cut all the way.. it was cool not hot.. and the box had a few drippy looking spots on it and even had pizza sauce on the outside of the box! Done ordering from them for moving forward. I was not happy with either product

Get a good pizza but don’t dare to ask for delivery; you might end up like me, waiting for a pizza that the delivery guy have left at the front door floor with the bugs from the garden and the rain that was pouring.
How is possible that people offer a service so inefficient like that one above.

DoorDash is out of control. Ordered carry out and when I got there to pickup, the line was out the door for carry out while DoorDash drivers filled up the waiting area with the poor employee behind the register running all over the place. The initial order I was handed was incorrect, but they quickly resolved the issue. Good food, but will probably be awhile before reordering just due to the chaos associated with picking up the order.

I can’t say enough good things about Papa John’s and their incredible management team! Recently, I had an unfortunate accident where my pizza fell, and when I reached out, they went above and beyond by replacing it for free.
