The very first time I went there was last Saturday and I’ll tell you the strawberry and banana blend I got was very good. I will go back to get another one. The lady that waited on me was very friendly and sweet.
The people here are very friendly and get your order quickly! Prices are decent! Milkshakes are meh, family says they tasted more like milk than milkshakes.... My concrete sundae though, was really good! Will return for sure but for something other than milkshakes!
Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard in Lakeland offers the classic Rita’s menu, and the exterior of the establishment was very clean and well-maintained.
However, I’m giving it a 3/5 strictly due to the customer service. We stood at the counter for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged, even though we were clearly visible right in front of the glass. It wasn’t until another customer got in line, noticed we hadn’t been helped, and offered to let us go ahead that the employee— a younger gentleman—finally addressed us. It may have been a simple misunderstanding, but it definitely affected the overall experience.
That said, the ice cream itself was absolutely delicious and lived up to expectations!

I don't know where Rita's has been all my life, but I think we stopped at every Rita's we saw. It was our after work treat, after dinner treat, weekend treat. Hah! Definitely don't have this in the Pacific Northwest and will be having this all the time.
