This location is the best Smallcakes that I have visited. The cupcakes were the freshest yet and the service was very good. Their cupcakes are pretty pricey but the quality is exceptional. We made our selections from a pretty impressive line up and loved every one of them. The cake portion of the cupcake is my favorite part. Both the chocolate and the vanilla were flavorful and super moist. They really did not need frosting. My grandson loved the chocolate cupcake with the pink frosting until he tried the Birthday Cake cupcake. It is a vanilla cupcake topped with white frosting and sprinkles. My daughter enjoyed the Caramel Crunch. It is a chocolate cupcake with a caramel frosting that is topped with pretzels. The Chocolate Cream is also very good. They look similar to a Hostess Cupcake but they are much tastier and fresher.

Got this hot pink box as a sweet surprise from my fiance. We tried 4 flavors: chocolate cream, lemon drop, hot fudge sundae and forgot the last one. Cake was moist and buttercream frosting was great. The cupcakes were cute. They had a decent variety. I just do not feel anything was outstanding with the price. I personally like whipped cream frosting.

In the last few really years since I wrote this review, this place has vastly improved. Cupcakes are perfect - moist (sorry) and delicious! There is always a good selection and I have tried several on many different occasions - their homemade hostess cupcake might be my favorite, but I also like the one with the peanut butter frosting. You can get a scoop of edible cookie dough, as well. It doesn't quite taste like the salmonella-laced version, losing something in the texture. It melts quickly on your tongue. Original version was pretty good, but I tossed the chocolate with m&m. But never mind the dough. Go for the beautiful chocolate and red velvet cupcakes! Definitely better than any other cake option in town.
