Such a shame. I heard they were changing but assumed they would keep the soft serve. My husband is diabetic and it was an amazing option! Would love the SF syrup options and soft serve recipe. Fist they didn't have evening hours and now changing completely! The SF chocolate gelato was totally tasteless!

Very disappointed with the transition to gelato. Not to mention a big disappointment no more buy 2 get 1 on Wednesday’s and no quarts. I wasn’t going to give a negative review until after reading a few of the recent reviews and seeing your response asking people to take down truthful reviews.

I'm so sad this place isn't what it used to be! I've been trying to go for a couple months for their soft serve because it was my favorite and they were always closed. I went today to do their typical buy two get one to take home and to my surprise there are no more soft serve machines, no more d lites brand of soft serve and keto soft serve. They have some different variations of gelato but I'm not into gelato, and everything else they're trying to make it an italian coffee shoppe. I am very sad! My favorite place to is no more :(.

The ricotta gelato was delicious, I ate it so fast that I forgot to take a picture. Also I love that all of their products are clean without artificial ingredients.

(Hours are HORRIBLE) D'Lites is such a good ice cream place for something light with good toppings, however, I hate how they are only open from 12-6 in the off season. It makes it very inconvenient to get good tasting ice cream!!

I’m avoiding sugar for health reasons, and I was so happy to find that D’lites had sugar-free gelato made with Stevia instead of chemical sweeteners! I had the chocolate and it was delicious… Couldn’t even tell that it was sugar-free. They are revamping the space, and I’m excited that they are going to be carrying Italian specialties! Happy to have found my new ice cream spot!

They took out all the traditional dlites soft serve ice cream and they replaced it with gelato. Don't call it DLites if you're going to eliminate the classic ice cream.
I'm excited about the changes at D'lites. I had the sugar-free chocolate gelato and it was delicious. I couldn't even tell it was sugar-free... plus the fact that it didn't have chemical sweeteners a huge plus!! The woman who served us was very sweet. And I love that they are carrying Italian specialties!

I discovered this place after getting my hair done and I am so glad I did! As someone who has been sick for a long period of time from a severe soy allergy, I am so glad to find a place that caters and serves real whole food with natural ingredients. The coffee and passion fruit gelato are both delicious. They also have a grocery store inside, where they sell non-gmo foods! I even bought a pizza that's made with unbleached flour. They use flour that is not processed with the chemicals that are in a lot of our foods. You can also buy imported Italian wine. As a trauma nurse, I've been on a health journey for many years. I figured it out after doing the elimination diet and realizing that many illnesses revolve around what we eat. It's nice to buy something sweet and not stress out about the ingredients. I love this place!

As a loyal customer who appreciated Dlites healthy keto soft serve ice cream and other healthy low carb options, I was extremely disappointed on my recent visit.I called before heading over to make sure they were open, I looked at the flavors of the week on their website and eagerly drove 25 mins over to Dlites but when I got there I discovered the entire concept had changed.The former Dlites location is now an Italian pastry shop offering gelato and wine, with no mention of this significant change anywhere online. While I understand businesses can evolve, but this bait and switch tactic of maintaining the same branding for a completely different establishment is misleading to dedicated customers.Dlites is a franchised company and there is certain expectation you have to going and this was deceitful.

I visit Sarasota 4-5 times a year, D'lites is always been a multiple must-stop for my family. We appreciated their commitment to a healthy menu, including soft serve, organic, keto items and coffee. However, my recent visit was disheartening – no soft serve, and the entire selection had shifted. It felt like the essence of D'lites was replaced, akin to walking into a Whole Foods and finding Dollar General instead. Sadly, it seems the era of this beloved spot, with its unique offerings, has come to an end.
