Fantastic modern take on classic Mexican dishes. Cocktails are creative and delicious, food is fresh with the highest quality ingredients. Service is exceptional, and ambiance is relaxing and tasteful. Lots of seating options including open air bar and outside covered dining. This place isn't cheap but definitely worth the price. Their hamburger is probably the best one I have ever tasted with Waygu beef, queso, pickled veggies and brioche bun - available during happy hour!

Fantastic Mexican food (had the waygu fajitas and enchiladas). Both were excellent.

Wednesday is wine and waygu day so we saved $10 on the fajitas.

Fantastic cocktails, friendly & prompt service, overall a great experience.

It is on the higher priced range, especially for Mexican food, but delicious.

We have been to fuego many times. Always enjoyable, food is always good. The reason there's a three start instead of a five star review is because the bartender . I unfortunately did not get her name, but she is the one that speaks spanish. She gave us lackluster attention today, and I ordered a quesadillo that was eight dollars, and I asked to add barbacoa. She did not mention that the barbaco was an eight dollar ad on which also isn't stated on their happy hour menu. When I asked her when I got the bill, she had a foul attitude. And instead of apologizing and saying, yes, I should have notified you that it was an upcharged. She said, it's called, in add on for a reason, and gave me attitude. I will continue to come back to fuego, but this definitely puts a sour taste in my mouth.

Last night I had a rare chance to have a daddy daughter night with my lovely Ashley. I checked open table to see if there was anything around that might be open a few days after getting pummeled by hurricane Milton. Diego Comida popped up and I read a few reviews about the restaurant. Ashley and I decided to have an upscale Mexican cuisine experience. Fungi Comida delivered. The options were unique and refreshing for a restaurant that caters to a Mexican menu.

We decided to have the WAGYU FAJITA and SHORT RIB dinner. To complement the dish I added a tequila old-fashion that was out of this world. I could go into the ingredients of the fresh agave they make with the vanilla bean ingredients, however, I would suggest just go there and have one.

The Wagyu fajita was a unique twist on the traditional flat iron presentation. It came out flaming with a strip of Wagyu steak with sautéed peppers and onions. This dish was absolutely amazing best fajita I have ever enjoyed. At first, I didn’t even want to put it into the tortilla, then I did and it was scrumptious. The only thing I would change is the side items for the fajita are on a very small plate and they don’t give you enough toppings or tortillas to fully enjoy the amount of Wagyu beef.

WAGYU FAJITA
10 oz. Marinated Hanger Steak, Roasted Peppers and
Onions, Salsa Mexicana, Guacamole, Chihuahua Cheese, Lime Crema, Flour or Corn Tortillas

The second entrée ordered was the short ribs. A nice flavorful well rounded meal that shredded with a fork.
No knife needed.

SHORT RIBS
Recado Negro Braised, Baby Potato, Roasted Corn Purée, Grilled Mexican Onion, Charred Shishito Garnish

This restaurant has definitely raised to the top of my local favorites.

Everything in this place is excellent -the food, the drinks, and the wait staff. You will not be disappointed with anything you order....
10-10-2024 - Don't listen to the poor reviews. If your idea of good Mexican is taco bell or pepe's, then don't come here. The food, drinks, and happy hour are outstanding. Fajitas, empanadas, excellent. Everything and I mean everything is made from scratch and only high end ingredients.

Fuego was very busy due to being one of the only places open after hurricane Milton. We enjoyed having Vlad as a server. All staff were very friendly and provided good service despite the circumstances.

The atmosphere is pretty good. The food was great. But the service was terrible. There was this food runner called Julius or Julian who treated us very poorly. He threw the food at our table and acted with disgust. We asked him for extra chips and he told us “thats not my job”. Would be 5 star restaurant except for this.

The waiter was great (I believe his name was Chris)! The short ribs were great as were the potatoes & everything that came with the meal! The tacos need work & the rice was mushy. The black beans were horrible.

I went in with my best friend for his birthday for our very first time today and was blown away by the drinks and food!!! 5 stars all the way. The service we had was below sub-par for how busy the restaurant was. We waited 10 min for the 2nd round of drinks with a clear bar. When they arrived, the drinks were wrong. After we waited another 10 min we flagged our waitress down and asked for the drinks again. She blatantly lied to our faces and said that the bartender just finished. We watched the bartender. He was polishing glasses and counting his drawer. He had been done for a while. The 3 of us really wanted to like this place, and would definitely come back for the food. How ever the service was just sad. And never even a mention or ask about the birthday. Service was very forgettable. Great atmosphere and food!

Emily was our server and she was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and went over it in great detail. One of the best servers we have had in awhile! The chips and salsa were a great start along with the amazing drinks, the birria empanadas as a starter were incredible! And we really enjoyed the chicken fajitas and sea bass tacos with a side of brussel sprouts and black beans! We had enough sides leftover between the both of us to make a lunch tomorrow with it! Definitely recommend this spot!

My husband and I are amazed at the quality and presentation of the food, everything we have had so far has been delicious. Try the Sea Bass, it is the BEST in town! Rachel was or server, and she was wonderful. We had a great night thank you!
