I've been coming here for over 20 years, and still haven't found a cuban as good as this place! When my brother comes to visit from Maryland, we always stock up on some for the whole family.

Smoked Turkey sandwich was Terrible, the bread tasted like it had been frozen or in a cooler so it was dry and flaky.Basically wasn't worth a crap and I won't be going back.

I ordered through Uber and the Cuban sandwich. My husband does not like onions will not eat it. I specifically put on request no onions. I call Larry's deli spoke with who said he is the manager Nico's not much help at all. Then he tells me to call Uber and Uber says in the message they can't help with the merchants does and it's like Mommy tell Daddy Daddy tell Mommy no results and the Uber says they they didn't mention a refund and then it mention anything which is fine. All I wanted was my food right when I specifically requested is happening a lot in the Land o lakes area and maybe everywhere else. But that's because no one wants to speak up. Everybody says this place is good. Well you can't prove it by me. I'm not saying the food is okay but it's not an authentic Cuban sandwich. Anybody from Tampa that's been around or ybor City knows that it's fine. I have no yoga plants. It's okay to eat it. It's just not what UPS up to par but that's not the issue. The issue is you don't put onions unless they're requested on a Cuban sandwich and they put it on there. He specifically does not eat that and I've made that point everywhere and I've spent a money that died. He can't eat the sandwich now and their review. Can you get up here? I don't have transportation that's why I did Uber but I will not be doing it again much. I can tell you that only if it's a emergency. I have no choice and if more people would take care of this, there would be people working that would want their jobs instead of hiring anybody. That just seems to be to me that just throw anything on your food if you like the onions. If maybe I should have said he wants onions and they wouldn't have been put on there. Are these people are not reading the order and what is utterly unacceptable you call these places back. Well we're busy. Well I'm busy paying my money. How about that? And it's several places that it's happened. Dunkin donuts has always been great. There's one girl at a certain Dunkin donuts. Always make sure the last time the order was totally messed up. I get it once or twice, but when it happens more than once in an area I find that unacceptable. Thank you very much for Uber putting it on the deli and the deli saying to call Uber and it's it's ridiculous they don't have a number to reach you and to tell me they can't help with the merchant. Does several times different places they're representing this? These companies and these companies are going through Uber where they're being representative. I don't know how some people are saying they have such great experience. Are they ordering through Uber?

Garlic pressed yankee Cuban is my emotional support sandwich! I live this place and this is one thing I can get that my whole family loves to eat.

Ordered a Ribeye Steak & Provolone Cheese sandwich and got horrible food poisoning that night. I wouldn’t write a review like this unless I was absolutely sure it was the cause, and it was the only thing I ate that day so I can say that it was the issue 100%. Halfway through eating the sandwich I felt like it was kind of off, and about 5 hours later that was confirmed. Will never be going back.

Been coming here for 30 years. New ownership is ruining our hometown cuban shop. Called in an order of two subs. They made one incorrect. Tell me how that works! Will never be back. Unfortunate, great things must come to an end.

Been going here since 2002 and the turkey melt sub (fully loaded) has kept the same great quality throughout the years! Always get it garlic butter pressed 😉

What's up with this new ownership. For many years I get the Yankee Cuban all the time and they were fantastic. My Yankee Cuban today was pretty much just a ham sandwich with little to no turkey. This is very disappointing since this used to be my favorite sub shop. Seeing the reviews now it looks like I'm not alone. I might give them ONE more chance however the new owner should fix this quick or I won't be coming back and put Larry's in my past.

So disappointed. Not like it used to be. My turkey sub barely had any turkey in it. Was not made as I ordered it. Had tomato didn't ask for tomatoes. Asked for extra pickles and barely any on it. I didn't want it pressed and got it pressed. My husband's was a Yankee Cuban and it was all ham. Barely any other meat on there. Bread was so dry. Won't be back. The person that took the order sounded bothered and unfriendly. Sorta knew after that call it was going to be bad.
