Welton Brewing Co And Oyster Bar

My wife and I arrived on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 at 2:30 and found the place empty except for an older couple (like us) sitting at the bar which we sat at as well. We were greeted by Kalen who was bartender/waiter and was happy to share the history of his family restaurant. We have been displaced New Englanders for close to ten years and know good seafood and UNTIL TODAY was convinced it was never going to be found in Florida! We ordered two beers after taste testing four or five of their micro brews. Ordered two Clam Chowders , a Clam Basket (with bellies, which are non-existent in Florida), and a Lobster Roll, (Maine Style, which means "cold") and one of their famous Maine Whoopie Pies all for under a hundred dollars! FLORIDA , IF YOU WANT TO TASTE WHAT REAL SEAFOOD SHOULD TASTE LIKE....THIS IS THE PLACE! It is not an easy place to find but we will be back with all our New England friends that is for sure!

Awesome people, atmosphere, food and drink!!! Highly recommend Bloody Mary beer and oysters, and don’t forget their delicious Whoopie Pie for dessert!

Great selection of craft beer and a superb cold lobster roll . Service was fast and friendly … didn’t have oyster but next time we will.

Excellent lobster roll, fries, and great hospitality. Many great beers on tap. Highly recommend trying this establishment. It’s a little hidden from the main road, but definitely worth trying.

Absolutely amazing, best oysters I’ve had in the area, they were so fresh and sweet I could have put down 3 dozen. The staff was extremely sweet, great personalities and very attentive. Will be back every time I come to the area

Nothing fancy about the building but these are the places I like. Great food and staff and we hit a Birthday night for 2 of the employees so lots of cake! We'll be back.

The oysters were fresh and super tasty. The lobster rolls were amazing, the service was on point and awesome. Nicole, Maggie and Kalen were stupendous. The beer was amazing as well. My first time here and I truly recommend it.

Went here Friday evening (12/06) and again Saturday (12/07).. what a very cool brewery. Food is outstanding, we had the oysters. They were sweet, tender and soo fresh, definitely worth the price. They go along well with their craft beer. We also had the fresh, very lightly coated fish ( haddock) & Chips.Needless to say it was awesome. This Brewery is behind the German-American Club on 66th St. Pinellas Park. By some chance if you don’t like craft beer they have Red/ White Sangria on tap. I cannot say enough about this Brewery/ restaurant. The price is right, exceptionally friendly and of course it is locally owned and operated. Kudos to the chef , staff and the owner. This is definitely my go to place . As to what I recommend… ITS ALL GREAT !!!

Came here as a last minute adventure with the husband. We were so impressed with this little distillery. Family owned and operated. Lots of local brews and a pleasant atmosphere. We arrivedjust after opening and had the place to ourselves for a bit. Check this place out for yourself!

I ran across Welton using my fav go to app Yelp! The service was fantastic, the oysters were fresh and deli-ish; so much so that I ordered another half-dozen. I just had to try the lobster grilled cheese sandwich - nice! A must try and I'll be back.
