Ordered a crawfish po boy with fries to go and they were both great. Fries were average, but the Po Boy was the star of the show. Piled high with crawfish and other ingredients and on a tasty roll, this is one place to stop by and try out.They also have a hearty beer selection and a full menu. Recommended for some tasty NOLA cuisine.

I miss the old place down by the water near the former Wagon Wheel Flea Market site; it was part of the experience. The new place is bright and clean and very comfortable, but not special and charming in quite the same way. The good news is that the food is as fabulous as ever. Outside of New Orleans (and maybe not even then, I can't say for sure), you won't find anything as authentic or as delicious. Heaven on a plate. Great beer selection, too.

Do yourself a favor and TRY THIS PLACE! We visit our daughter and her fiancé in St Pete a couple of times a year and Cajun Cafe on the Bayou is one of the first places we go when we arrive. It’s also where we want to go before heading home to Bham, Alabama.Consistently amazing food and a huge selection of beers both bottled and on tap. The owner is so friendly and accommodating.
