“My daughter and I decided to have tacos for dinner. We were staying at an AirBNB close by and decided to go to Elvira's. She ordered a jamaica water and I order a Michelada. We ordered tacos de bistec and de lengua. The tacos de lengua were tasty and fresh. The meat in bistec tacos were a bit over cooked but still flavorful. The tacos came with tortillas de mano (corn hand made tortillas). I like that they are not dipped in oil and just cooked naturally. As with everything now, it is getting a bit pricey.“
“If you’re homeless, and you have nowhere to sleep, this is a great place to park your car. Nobody will bother you during the daytime sleep on the opposite side of the road around the lake but at Sunset the park Rangers will make you move from the lake because the park closes at dark but then you can park your car here and no one will bother you.“
“We ate here cuz we just got into town and it was Taco Tuesday...The food was delicious.... Birria tacos presented beautifully however not practical the "dipping" goes everywhere making it difficult to want to order again... Pitcher of margaritas tasty but weak. Tabitha was out server and she was very good and friendly“
“I’m from CA and have been to many different Mexican restaurants and none have compared to this one! Right when my family and I walked in we knew it was going to be good. It was busy- which is a good sign. Staff got us seated quickly and service was great the entire time. Food and drinks were delicious!! Everything from chips & salsa, dinner to churros for dessert, down to to the horchata was amazing!! If I had this restaurant at my local town I’d be a regular for sure! My little kids can’t stop talking about how good it was either!“
“Just tried this restaurant for the 1st time! Ordered guac n chips, chicken quesadillas and enchiladas. Food was super fresh and yummy! Cute outdoor seating and "order at window" service, but the lady was super friendly and sweet. Definitely coming back to try other items!“
“The yearssss of great energy and experiences Rocco’s has given me!! Not only is their food incredible (big fan of their quesadillas), the vibes are always on point and service is phenomenal. A special thank you to our favorite server, Cami, who is always attentive and smiling. We appreciate you and will 100% be back!“
“My Son calls this his favorite food truck. He gave my Husband and I each a bite last night and we decided to go for dinner tonight. It was delicious! We ate there in the cute little dining area. We were so full that we each took half home for lunch tomorrow. Friendly people and delicious food. We will be back❤️“
“The restaurant is clean. The food is exceptional. I've been three times in one week. The staff is friendly and it isn't so loud you couldn't hold a conversation. I highly recommend this restaurant. The restaurant was very clean.“
“Let's just say that I'm a regular here. Ever since I heard about this place in August of 2023, I have been goingat least once a week!I also bring friends and family. This small family business is very good. They make you feel at home no matter what. The service sometimes is slow, but there are never any sour faces. Everyone is genuinely nice. You would have no idea that the owners were serving you if they didn't tell you that they owned the place. Mostly, everyone there is humble. This is the reason I continue to come back weekly. That and the house margarita!! ? The last time I had one like that was in Mexico. This place is a must try!!Also, just because it is not a dish on the menu doesn't mean that they can't make it ? as long as they have the ingredients, skies the limit!Dietary restrictions: Beans made with pork. They always remember that I don't want my beans fried in pork fat. That is so nice and considerate ☺️“
“My family and I LOVED Rivales. It is hard to find fresh, Mexican restaurants that are not Tex-Mex, and this was the ideal place to eat. Awesome refried beans, homemade Margaritas, delicious chimichangas, and outstanding/friendly service by Brian!!! Rivales has become my favorite Mexican restaurant in Palm Beach!!!“
“This is the spot for tacos if you want good, authentic, and fair priced food. They go above and beyond every time and it's a little family owned place. Hands down absolute best tacos in West Palm Beach. My girlfriend and I come here almost every Tuesday that we can and we are regulars here. This spot has a special place in our hearts. Everything on the menu is good and portions are amazing.“
“This is always our first stop when we're in town. Classic margarita, smoked octopus and tacos.Adding to my original review as we were just back again. Tamales! Yes! Had a tough time finding Amaro at most bars in the area but laughed when we saw the M&M shot on the menu this time. A great combo. Also, love that the octopus is now offered as a taco. Don't let the wait discourage you - It's worth it.See you next time.“
“I love this place, and I love the food, and especially how the people attending especially Yennifer She always recommend To try the food and every time that I got something that she say is good, it’s really good I love her she is very nice very kind and very helpful and the people in the kitchen they really really really good people and fair“
“If you want the yummiest authentic Mexican food, definitely stop in and try their fresh, made to order burrito or tacos or enchiladas, everything is delicious. If you like fish, they have options like their mouthwatering shrimp burrito and other choices too.Grab a Negra Modello while you’re at it!“
“The food here is so good. Great Atmosphere and friendly staff..Vegetarian options: They do have a decent vegan size on their menuDietary restrictions: They have good dietary restriction items as well for people That are on a diet.Parking: Quite a few parking spaces right out. Front of the restaurant and an overflow parking right to the side.Kid-friendliness: Very open space live music that is kid friendly. Great kids menu and they don't mind that your kids are standing up and moving around.“
“I just bought some strawberries with cream, a shrimp cocktail and a shrimp tostada, and wow I was surprised by the presentation and the excellent taste. I also liked the super clean place and its very nice decoration. Without a doubt I will return.“
“I have been coming here for years! Maybe once a year but when they first opened I was here at least twice a week! I personally know the owners and they are the absolute sweetest! It’s nice to come and see they have hired workers that mean things are going great for them! I had no doubt they will be still standing years to come in just happy to have a place so close to home as nice as black bean! The food and pastries and aren’t anything short of amazing! (If you’re in doubt get a burrito) but I promise you won’t be disappointed! Come support black bean if you love great food!“
“This is the only place in South Florida, possibly the whole East Coast, you can get an authentic Pombazo. My sister in law who grew up in Mexico city agrees they rock. The service here is always friendly and they give you realistic expectations on when your food will be ready, often having it out faster. I have called with last minute orders on multiple occasions and never got a single bit of attitude. Highly recommend.“
“My wife and I love stopping by this location! The carne asada tacos are our favorite. All tacos come with cilantro and onion. A choice of red or green sauce with a few limes and slices of radishes are on the side with the tacos. The green sauce is bomb and the red sauce is spicy. We highly recommend stopping by on taco Tuesday for their $5.99 for three tacos deal. They also have a lunch special for three tacos, a side of rice, a side of black beans or pinto beans, and a Jarrito drink for $11.99.The guacamole is awesome and fresh. The fried foods are delicious with a nice selection. We cannot get enough of ED’s Food Store.Definitely always stopping by for lunch when we are in Lake Worth.“
“My in-laws took me to this great. Little Mexican restaurant, which is their favorite. It was in a little plaza nestled in between a few stores. As you walk in, you can see the great Mexican decorations all over the place. The staff had come over read it us and took our order. The drinks were strong. The food was good. We had all around good time here. Make sure you check it out when you can. Mexican food and restaurant at its finest.“
“It's a very cute primarily takeout place but they have a few tables, apparently they serve breakfast but we had dinner there. My wife had the Cabo Baja tacos and she thought they were great and I had a wet burrito. They served our food with plastic utensils but that was fine. The quality of the food made up for the atmosphere. I would highly recommend this and I want to try it for breakfast sometime.“
“No exaggeration, this is the best food truck that I’ve been to and I’ve traveled all over the country (avid traveler). They are very professional and kind. The food is ALWAYS on point. They never disappoint. The service is very quick. I visit at least once or twice a week lol. They are my go to!!“
“GREAT burrito stuffed full of steak with 2 sauces, a little salad & grilled onions on the side. Burrito made while you wait so it’s fresh. Friendly staff. Wish the burritos came in a XL size. It was so good!Dietary restrictions: I’m lactose intolerate & was happy to see they keep the sour cream on the side & it’s optional for you to take it.Parking: The food truck is located in the parking lot of a liquor store but don’t be fooled the food is restaurant worthy“
“Attention service and atmosphere, 10 out of 10, Mrs. Janeth Pérez made us feel at home, the food, I don't know who cooks it if it is a man or a woman, but what arrived at our table was hardly salty, nor simple , everything on point, congratulations for the service, kindness and cordiality especially to Mrs. Janeth….“
“4/10/24 Delicious food, attentive friendly service and festive ambiance!I ordered my favorites! Watermelon Jalapeños margarita, cheese quesadilla and coconut tres Leches! All delicious!I was warmly greeted by Sofia.. I sat at the inside bar… she was extremely attentive and informative.. I love sitting at the bar.. just enough TVs to enjoy your favorite sporting event! The restaurant is spotless and has a festive vibe! I ordered , my food was brought to me piping hot by Ray! Another charming and professional staff member! The cheese quesadilla was a huge portion enough to share and so yummy -filled with melted cheese! Lots of sour cream and guacamole as toppings! The best part was the dessert- coconut tres Leches! Omg! Another huge portion and topped with fresh whipped cream and strawberries! Definitely don’t leave without ordering dessert! A delicious enjoyable lunch on my day off! I highly recommend!———————————————————————-May 2023-On an extremely busy Mother’s Day late afternoon (6pm) happy hour I found a seat at the outside bar. 1st time here since they opened. I was quickly welcomed and ordered my HH watermelon/ Jalapeño margarita. (Only $5.00) Ally certainly served me a delicious Margarita! She was attentive and always smiling.. After a day in Miami at the Marlins game I just wanted something lite.I ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla ($3.00). It came out very quickly. It’s tiny and it came out cold and dried outI guess you get what you pay for… I was too hungry to send it back. They must pre make these and keep them under a heat lamp. It was very busy. Difficult for the kitchen to execute good quality food when they are extremely busy..Its a lively setting and it was cool outside. Looking forward to coming back and ordering a full dinner when they aren’t so busy.“
“Late night outdoor snack , this is the place. The steak/ shrimp tacos is always fresh. 3 tacos with rice and beans is a great deal. First time dining inside, service was really quick . Watermelon drink was refreshing.. I don't know what it is but their cheese is extremely addictive. Always get extra cheese and lime ?“
“I threw a huge party for my husbands 40th and hired Tacos Veracruz and they killed it!!! We had over 100 people at our house throughout the night and they stayed on top of the orders, were consistent with the food, and everything tasted amazing too!! Diana made placing the order very easy and even took all the stress out of figuring out the menu and the number of orders we would need because she reassured me she could bring extra to cook on the truck if we had more people show up then planned for, (which usually happens when hosting a party) and we did!! I highly recommend using Tacos Veracruz for your next event or party!!“
“The food here is phenomenal and I genuinely crave it every time I'm back in Orlando! The service is so fast, friendly and they always listen to additional requests to make sure they get your order right! They have a cute little sitting area where you can sit and eat if you wanted to relax or take photos. Really good for an after work bite! I recommend the flautas and Sopes! :)“
“I am Mexican, I have lived in West Palm Beach for more than 20 years, whenever I had cravings for a Mexican dish I preferred to cook it myself because the Mexican restaurants I had gone to had disappointed me, I had not found one that had the most authentic flavor, We loved EL MARIACHI restaurant, the flavor is authentic and delicious, the service was super good. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food!“
“I've been to A'Lu a few times already and I absolutely love it! The view/ambiance and the happy hour prices really makes it a great place. Service is also very good and the churros dessert is delicious! They include free chips and salsa which I love but I do wish they didn't come in a brown paper bag--it kinda ruins the presentation! A simple bowl would go a really long way. The tacos were okay and lacked flavor or some "oomph" but regardless, I still keep coming back because the drinks, prices, and views are great!“
“Hole-in-the-wall, family-operated Guatemalan restaurant. Digital jukebox with Non-Stop native music. Generous portions of tasty food at reasonable prices. Chicken fajitas were a bit bland for my taste. My companion loved the yellow rice and beans. Homemade corn tortillas. No A/C.“
“Went in in a Wednesday and discovered that it was $1.99 margaritas! They were so good! Fajitas and quesadillas were good too. Our server was amazing and made sure we got the most out of our meal. We’re here for vacation but will definitely be back next time we’re down!“
“Very delicious pupusas, chicken tamales sometimes very hard, chickpeas, corn tamales very delicious but we would like them to be less dry. In the inner area it is already an environment for men to come to eat and drink their beer, it is nice to eat better in the outer area with the shady ones. I like coming, some waitresses are not very smiling and seem mean but there are others who always look happy even though they look tired. This is a very difficult and tiring job for them and they should always leave tips to make the sacrifice more worth it. You can hardly find chicken tamales anymore and that's what we always order the most but they don't want to make them anymore. If I recommend this place you should try their food little by little so that if something opens that you really like and you will keep coming back.“
“Anita and Gilberto have a gold, mine, a friend from California referred me to Anita‘s Mexican Grill, here in West Palm Beach on Okeechobee Boulevard. The food is more authentic than any other place in West Palm Beach, it’s excellent and the people that work there are hard-working and the restaurant is very clean. I go now at least once a week and the first weekend went twice. You have to try it out, Christopher. .“
“This is place is very special. Stopped on a whim on a drive between Orlando and Miami. Extremely high quality food, and the tacos are served with a generous amount of fresh shredded Mexican cheese (not sure what specific cheese it was sorry!)There are no seats inside (I ate off the hood of my car) but it’s EXTREMELY clean and organized and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely come again! Best chorizo taco I’ve ever had.“
“Food was amazing, fast, and affordable! Staff did not speak English but were willing to work with us through a translator and very patient. Being the only ones eating in - don't let that deter you - the highlight of our night was when they started a playlist of nothing but Backstreet Boys ?Would definitely recommend! And would go back!! Muchas gracias!Parking: Several spots in front of restaurant.“
“Very good. I tried a few of the types of tacos. Favorite was birria de res. Tinga de pollo was a little bland, but they have 6 different hot sauces to choose from at no extra charge, so not an issue. I wish this place opened back when I lived nearby; I would have been here often. Give it a try!“
“Food is really good. Im only talking about the mexican food by the way. Food is much better than these sit down Mexican places with the mediocre dishes that taste like they all get them from the same place. Real Corn Tortillas and fresh grated queso blanco.“
“I have been living in this beautiful country for 20 years and until today I have found the taste of my beautiful and beloved Mexico. For all my Mexicans I recommend this place. It is clean, the girls are very friendly and the food omg very delicious. Even the fresh waters are delicious. I recommend them. at ? ?“
“La comida es muy buena es uno de los mejores restaurantes mexicanos en el condado. Pero las meseras no atienden bien casi todas traen cara de amargada y les gusta atender mejor a los hombres que a las mujeres (Yo suelo visitar el lugar con mi esposo)“
“This food truck is located on military trail and cherry road. I arrived there yesterday at9:44pm and was not aware they closed at 9:30pm. They were already cleaning up and packing up. The owner and the staff were extremely courteous and still insisted on taking my order and making my food. My favorite item is the “flautas” (in English it translates to flutes- see photo). They are AMAZING. I love supporting local business. You MUST try this place out.“
“First time checking this place out for tacos. Taco's are on their menu at $3.00 each but for Taco Tuesday the chicken and beef ones are $1.00 each so I had to try both! When I first came in no one at register but a few minutes later a lady came from the back and greeted me! She was pleasant and smiled ! After order which took about ten minutes I got my tacos which were served on a plate with some green hot sauce in a plastic container! The chicken one was shredded white breast meat which were very dry and lacked any flavor to the meat! That taco had cilantro and onion on it corn tortilla which was warmed yea!! ! The beef taco had a better flavor and was not dry with cilantro and onion. If I were to come again I recommend just order the beef and the price can't be beat ! If in area on a Tuesday I would stop back in ! I don't know if those tacos on other days are the same but those tacos I had are not worth $3.00. The parking there is very small ! When I went there was a camper parked in middle in between that restaurant and a company that works on cars not length wise but width wise! Not easy to get in and out because of how it's parked !! Kinda aggravating to park with that parked where it is ! Outside taco place they have many benches to sit outside !“
“Absolutely obsessed with this place. So delicious and the best service. Since I found it, I’ve been here about 5 times. Best tacos in West Palm Beach. Get the chorizo tacos and chorizo quesadillas, make sure you add everything and choose the green salsa. You’re welcome.“
“Love the environment, grabbed some food and went inside the house which seemed almost like a speak easy, loved the art def a hidden gem a ifykyk type of thing… music was good vibes were awesome everyone was friendly l.. very creative establishment… my favorite was the Al Capone!! And absolutely obsessed with the coconut shrimp tacos!!“
“Absolutely ? quality and flavor. The real deal when it cones to Mexican food trucks. Go nowhere else. This ladies also ad a flavor of humor and good will, that will paint a smile on your face. My favorites are tacos al pastor, alo g with their fresh waters ? and gorditas de chicharron. A crunchy fulfillment for the soul. No compassion. The best in town.“
“I love mexican food. My sister was visiting from mexico and i took her to eat some tacos but end up ! Ordering : #Sopes de barbacoa,#Nachos al pastor. We loved it and ate all our serving's.I took 2" Sopes" to go and my son loved it too.“
“That skirt steak dinner is Amazing it was soft not chewy who ever is in that kitchen cooking is doing it with love. There is also a greek place across the street that is amazing the food in this area is great. Staff was also great. Both great for dates but not full blown dinner parties due to limited seating. ??“
“Food was good but not as great as everyone makes it to be. I ordered a chicken, steak, and pork taco. Chicken and steak were good but the pork was all fat that I couldn't eat it. Once we got the bill I asked for 5 single dollars back so I could tip but she gave me a $5 bill back. Luckily I had change but she would have gotten more if I got singles back.“
“I believe they used to be over on Rosemary Ave, across the street from the Cheesecake Factory. The food is sooo good. Tastes like they have grandma in the back kitchen whipping a good home cooked meal. Highly recommended, can’t go wrong with anything you order. Service was exceptional as well. This place is officially my taco spot!“
“First time here this evening. What a gem! Such a nice family running the business. We had the barbacoa tacos, chips and guac and queso, all excellent. The gardens are beautiful, serene and peaceful. Will definitely recommend and visit often.“
