These may seem, to some, like 'the little things' - but going to another location where you pull up to a window and the server seems upset, oryour food accidentally came without sauce, or you didn't get napkins, especiallywhen you get 'Quesorito' on your lap during 'car dining' makes all the difference in quality.“

“We went to dinner late and what's not better than a taco bar, a tequila bar! We had guacamole made at our table. Alice did a fine job picking out the right avocados. It was blended to perfection. The cerviche had pomegranate seeds that added just the burst of flavor to pop out the irresistible blend of the dish. The mochajete was served sizzling with 2 hot sauces that were to die for, habenero and Chipotle. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!“

She gave us a tour, gave us the history and background of the restaurant and educated us on the artwork of importance, while educating us on the significance of the art and Mexican culture. “My 2nd visit. I had the Baja Taco - fish. They were excellent! 9.0 out of 10. Friendly staff. Server even came out to take a picture of my friends and I. It was just before the lunch rush. Place does get busy. Outdoor seating, under cover. Beer is available as well. Highly recommend.“

“I’m a regular at this location, and the staff is the reason why. To say they’re friendly is an understatement. Management should give a big thank you to James, because he’s the only reason I keep coming back. He’s the only bartender (anymore) at this location that cares about your day and is attentive. We appreciate you James!! I was so disappointed to hear that Max and Brandon were let go. The three of them made us women feel comfortable and safe.

“Don’t be fooled by any of the negative reviews. These are THE BEST tacos in Florida. Absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I are from the west coast and she’s from Southern California. So the Mexican food on the west v.s. The east are extremely different. In my opinion Florida tacos are typically quite lackluster compared to those of the WEST. THIS STAND IS THE EXCEPTION!!! The location stuck out to me as it seems to be parked in someone’s driveway when you pull up. But YES IT IS THE RIGHT PLACE! PHENOMENAL TACOS FROM A PHENOMENAL COUPLE FOLKS! They were both very nice. Gave us plenty of extra sauce. And this was EVERYTHING FOR MY FIANCÉ and I ❤️

“I am mexican and my family and I have never truly ever had a good authentic mexican meal outside of our home. However, La Pitaya completely changed our world and is legit the only place my traditional parents enjoy going for mexican food when we dont feel like cooking. Their service is quick and friendly, the food is truly authentic and flavorful, they even make the tortillas fresh which is so hard to find nowadays in “authentic” mexican restaurants. This place is definitely worth a try if youre looking for a new mexican place!“

“If you're looking for a Chic commercial style Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu, this place is not for you.

This is a cozy little family style restaurant like you would expect to encounter in a small town in Mexico. It's located in a strip mall and has limited seating.

The server was friendly and took our order cheerfully in spite of the fact we were just getting a couple of appetizers. I ordered a beef taco which was a small soft tortilla but I was surprised to find slices of beef instead of ground beef. It was served with chopped onions and cilantro on the side. At $3.50 it was a good bang for your buck. My wife told me the guacamole was the best she ever had.

They do have the usual fare like fajitas, burritos, etc but we were just coming from a show and only wanted a little nosh.“

“We dined there on March 15th. The four of us arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately. A bowl of warm tortilla chips and salsa appeared as soon as we sat down. They have a large menu and the orders come out within a very reasonable time frame and all entrees arrived hot. We all ordered different entrees. I got the California burrito with chicken and it was delicious. We had one issue, however, that I want to note. None of us, unfortunately, speak Spanish and the young lady who took our order was very sweet but did not speak or understand English well. One of us had questions about the fajitas and asked if it could be cooked without the peppers and was told it could. The dish that was delivered was not fajitas ( all of our other orders were correct) and our table member sent it back re-requesting fajitas without peppers. They delivered the second dish, which was chicken fajitas but it was made with green peppers. He just took the dish since the three of us were already eating our entrees. I’m not sure why it was so difficult to order such a common dish without the peppers. He said the dish was OK but also said he wouldn’t be returning. It put a damper on the evening and was a shame since it’s a pretty place and the staff overall were pleasant. The remaining three of us all liked the food and said we would return again but would not want the same server.
Our remaining table mate would not return. Once our server knew the order was wrong she never returned to the table. So, can’t give more than 3 stars for the service.“

They’ve never disappointed, there’s another taco truck in front of them and we came a little too close to closing for them so they turned us away but we came here and they made time to serve us and we’re so kind about it. Their carne asada tacos are really good and they always remember to put no onions when I ask which is so huge because every place always forgets. The queso is way fresher than other places and they have both regular and spicy. I got the regular and it was so good. The surf and turf bowl with steak and shrimp was fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot.

Staff was super friendly, and if you sign up for rewards you get free chips and queso which is a nice bonus. The shaved ice was amazing too.

Honestly, this might be my new go-to. Way better than Chipotle in my opinion.“

It was not too crowded. I loved that they gave all mothers a free dessert and a rose.
